If you've discovered a way to attach a universal cup holder, would you please post a picture?

I snap mine to the upper part where the numbers are but over the seat area because otherwise it gets caught in the doorways or on furniture as I pass. I simply take it off if I’m going to sit on the seat and snap it to the outside or leave it off. I use it every day to carry my drink and phone.
