Absolute game-changer for my favorite Filipino dishes!
I am so obsessed with this new Instant Pot rice and grain cooker! It has completely transformed how I prep meals and honestly, it looks so sleek and modern on my kitchen counter. The matte finish is beautiful, and it takes up way less space than my old bulky cooker. I love how easy it is to set up and use and with the time I save making meals, it definitely is worth the value. Why I'm in love w/ it: Fast & Perfect Filipino Meals: Iโve been using this to whip up my favorite comfort foods like Sinangag (garlic fried rice), Arroz Caldo, and even slow-cooked Adobo. The 8 smart presets take all the guesswork out of it, and everything cooks incredibly fast without sacrificing that authentic taste and texture. Insane CarbReduce Tech: As someone who eats rice with almost every meal, the CarbReduce technology is a literal miracle. It cuts out up to 40% of the carbs and sugar, but the rice still comes out perfectly fluffy and delicious. I honestly canโt tell the difference in taste! Massive 20-Cup Capacity: It easily handles huge batches, making it perfect for family gatherings or meal prepping for the week. Plus, it keeps everything warm for up to 10 hours so food is always ready when we are. Easiest Cleanup Ever: The non-stick pot, stainless steel steam basket, and removable lid are all dishwasher-safe. No more scrubbing dried, sticky rice off the sides! My Take: If you love making hearty, traditional rice-based dishes but want a healthier, faster way to do it, you need this appliance. Itโs modern, powerful, and a total lifesaver in the kitchen!

Carb reducing feature works
Replaced my 8 cup aroma rice cooker with this carb reducing rice cooker because it claims to help get rid of the extra starches in rice. With traditional rice cookers, I can always see white film of starch cooked into my rice and caked on the lid. I love rice but always thought about how I was also eating these extra trace carbs with it. Now I feel guilt free eating my rice. Let me start off by saying the finished product tastes so healthy and clean! The starch does indeed separated and drain down. It has a pure clean taste to it unlike anything I've tasted before which was always slightly sweet with all the starch residues. This rice has consistently come out even visually clean with not a spec of the white starch film residue of a traditional rice cooker. It's not even on the lid! The process of making it took me 3 trial times to get it right and not mushy. Don't follow their directions on the water ratio when using the carb reducing stainless steel basket. It came out mushy, way too much water. I found after putting in my rice, I just put enough water to cover it. No more than half an inch on top of the rice, the less the better. Hope this helps. You can experiment but don't give up if the first results don't work out, you'll find what works best for you and then you'll consistently make great rice like I do! Very easy to clean. Another note if that although it is beautiful and modern looking, it is bigger than I thought it would be but it's ok. I got used to it bc of the benefits of what it does with the carb technology and It's more than a rice cooker. I steam alot with it as well with it's large capacity steam basket๐

Not Instant - Carb reduce feature takes forever
The carb reduce feature is not enough for Rice varieties that are parboiled - Example Kerala matta rice or any Indian rice that takes longer to cook. It takes forever to get it cooked on this Carb reduce mode. I had to set it in three 40 min sessions to get it cooked. "Copying the contents of another review, so this reaches the design team". PRO: 1. looks pretty 2. Easy settings 2. easy to use without carb reduce CON: 1. This product has serious design problems 1.1 the rice cannot be fully and thoroughly cooked when you use default settings of "carb reduce". You have to restart the cooker with "carb reduce" and stir the rice with water. 1.2 the inner pot for "carb reduce" is not easy to clean because it is made of stainless steel and rice sticks on it. 1.3 the inner pot for "carb reduce" is easy to scratch the inner pot with non-stick coating 1.4 no water collection cup. When you finish cooking and open the lid, much water flow from the lid down into the pot and edge which may hold some water. 2. the pot is heavy than others. Just like other customers' commend. It is ok for me although it is "heavy". Do not recommend this cooker if you use "carb reduce" a lot and worry about the water from the lid. Will return it.

If u don't own a rice cooker this is a great buy for u
I've had this rice cooker for a month now, I really waited till I get to use just about all the setting in this rice cooker including the carb reducing setting. Things I like about this rice cooker is the size of it, it's big, but its lightweight, It has more setting like the quinoa, mix grain, saute, carb reducing. The rest like steam, brown rice, slow cook, my aroma multicooker have all that. I like and i don't like steam basket, I like coz it's deeper and it's stainless steel, but u can't cook anything else in it while steaming coz yeah it's deep. That's why I use the steam basket from my aroma, it fits so I use it. I can steam dumplings while cooking rice at the same time, saving time. About the carb reducing setting, I think u can do the same with regular rice cooker like aroma (I'm sorry if I always mention aroma coz that's my old rice cooker and I can only compare it with it just hear me out). So all u need is a deep stainless steel steam basket, put the rice in it, after u wash your rice, (yes I wash my rice) measure water by putting your middle index finger on TOP the of the rice like surface of the rice, measure the water just half of the first line in your middle index finger. If you're an asian u know what I mean. Then set it to steam for 40min coz that's how long the rice cook in the instant rice cooker if u set it to carb reducing. Things I don't like about this instant rice cooker is it has no number measurement in the bowl or how ever u call it. It's just tells u the max level that's it. Yes there is a cup that says how many cups of water u put depends on how many cups of rice you're cooking. If u use it on dry rice it might work, but since I wash and rinse my rice before cooking, it's not going to work, I tried it, it becomes mushy, it's too wet. So I'm using the finger measuring technique coz it works for me. 2nd, is it doesn't have a condensation water reservoir, so when the rice is done, when u open it, all the condensation is just sitting around the ring of the rice cooker. Unlike my old rice cooker there's is small water reservoir on the side that the condensation goes when u open the lid, and it keeps it dry so the rice won't go bad even if u leave it till next day. Tips if you're using the carb reducing setting, when the rice is done make sure u dump the water that drips down under the basket. So that the rice is not setting on top of that water, or it will become mushy at the bottom of your rice. Also u can only cook for up to 4 cups if u use the carb reducing setting. So over all, I like it, like what I said it is a great buy if you don't own a rice cooker and wanted to have one. But if u have an old rice cooker might as well just keep your old one and save u some money, just buy a steam basket.

Love it and how easy manufacturer handled my issue
I loved everything about the rice cooker after it arrived - the sleek design and functionality, it also cooked rice just as itโs intended. It was straight forward to use and the rice did not stick to the pot. Unfortunately it unexpectedly got damaged after some time. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon to report the issue. Luckily, it was still in the warranty window. They asked for evidence and proof of purchase. After satisfying those requirements they sent me new one and asked me to trash out all parts of the damaged one.

Good one with a few drawbacks....
After using for almost two weeks on a daily basis, I find this cooker useful with a few drawbacks: 1. Water level indicated in the strainer pan is not accurate. You will need to add more water than indicated 2. The holes on the bottom of the strainer pan has a bad finish; if you run your fingers through to mix rice & water, it gives you a very rough feeling. Same holds good when you wash it. 3. Washing the strainer is not that easy. Rice can easily get into the holes so you need to be careful otherwise the food particles can get struck in the holes & pose a health risk 4. There is no provision to collect the water that's coming out of the steam while cooking. Cheaper ones have a catch mechanism on the back so you can easily take out the plastic collect-all container & wash; this one doesn't have that feature which I am not sure how its going to turn out after a while 5. The cooker looks so BIG but the container is not that big in comparison This cooker is good but definitely not great

Love this rice cooker
This rice cooker is fantastic!! I have 3 insta pots so decided Iโd pay a little extra for the instapot rice cooker and I was not disappointed!! It cooks more than rice to perfection. Any grain!!!

Unique concept
If it does as it is claimed, reducing carbs, it is great. I have no way of knowing because the result is the same as a normal rice cooker IMHO.

Broken in 1 year
I bought it last June, and it worked only for a year. All of a sudden, it stops working, and the Instant Pot support isn't helpful.

It works fine except there's no container to store the water drain from the cap
it looks good, cooks fine except one design flaw: when open the cap the water drain from the cap has no where to go but stay on the rim. some time it overflow to the inside. They should have it drain to a container as the other rice cooker usually does
