My pool is a 18 foot round, above ground pool. Before, I was using the Frog. the Frog is expensive and high-maintenance - You have to buy a special capsule for the container, and then separate chlorine capsules that go so quickly, you need several of them for the summer. You end up spending hundreds of dollars with the Frog. This chlorine feeder is absolutely perfect - modestly priced, well-built. You need 3 inch chlorine tablets for it. Installation was a breeze. Works exceptionally well, no leaks. I was Concerned about the cap, how easily it would open and close with time. I was looking for a wrench to open and close the cap, but I couldn’t find the right one for this feeder. No worries, as it turned out - you don’t need a wrench ever. been using it for a couple of months now, still easily open and close with hand. overall, five stars.

Works great and alot cheaper than buying it local.

I bought this since my previous method of chlorine dispersion pretty much sucked lol, this works well. Took a little bit for me to figure out how many tabs to keep in it and which level to put it on for my pool but I’m also not the best at checking levels and things as often as I should. Lid does tighten while in use so I have to us a tool to take it off every time cause I guess I’m weak lol but I rather it have a tight seal than leak so that’s a non issue. Id recommend this

Great product, fair price

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I thought it looked like a good unit, but I set it at the lowest setting (almost off) and it still over chlorinated my pool. Very disappointing as no matter how I set it it give to much Chlorine!. Reviews said good but truth is it doesn't work correctly no matter what

This chlorinator is easy to install and it feeds the chlorine perfect. You just need to supply the hose connectors.

This unit is very inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. Most of the leaks reported are probably due to not putting teflon tape on the threads of the lower drain screw and the screw on top of the screw cap. With teflon tape these plastic screws don't leak. It is rated for 50 psi. However, when operated at 50 psi the screw cap cracked at a stress point on the molding, and developed a major leak spewing water everywhere. I removed the screw cap, cleaned the inside of the cap with acetone, and poured marine-tex marine epoxy into the inside of the screw cap. After curing I reinstalled the screw cap on the unit and had no further leaks. I have not seen leaks around the adjustment valve. So now it is working fine and the tablets seem to last forever in my application. So with a little on-the-spot repair and tweaking it works for me. Not a high quality unit. You get what you pay for, but for me a great deal because chlorine pumps sell for hundreds of dollars.
