Schwalbe G-One RS Evo Super Race V-Guard TLE Folding Tyre, Transparent Sidewal

I ride my gravel bike on many different surfaces, from tarmac to level 1 gravel to level 2 gravel and these tires are phenomenal. The center, slick-like tread is very fast on the road and finely crushed limestone while the knobby sidewalls give you the bite that necessary for more gnarly terrain. I've been very impressed.

Fast rolling and fairly light gravel racing tire. The center tread rolls very quickly on pavement. Run lower pressures to engage the side knobs more. The casing is light; I would never run these with tubes. I recommend to run these tubeless. I personally use Orange Seal Regular and the occasional punctures in the center tread usually seal quickly.

The tire was disappointing for two reasons, it weighed about 40 gr more than the stated spec. and, more importantly, it got punctured in two places the first time I used it over gravel leading to a puncture inner tube and a flat (I had ridden it twice before over pavement w/o issue). I didn't ride hard nor was it rough or sharp gravel; somehow two little stone wedged themselves in two places on the tire central thread. I suspect that it may be an issue of quality control and that this particular tire was too soft or defective. I'll try to fix it with rubber glue in the small cuts left, but this tire inspires no confidence anymore. This was supposed to be an upgrade of my bike's cheaper stock tires but those have proven to be more reliable by giving no issues over many gravel rides.

Incorrect Tire sent - clearly re-used packaging for the G-one RS contained G-one R tire, the tread pattern is incorrect. Re-bought this tire because it was super fast, but it burned out pretty quickly (began puncturing frequently after 2,000 kilometers). definitely "around for a good time, not for a long time" kinda tire! buyer beware, these are thin and supple, perfect for riding road and soft dirt, but are very puncture / flat prone.

On tarmac, they roll almost as fast as my slicks, feel solid in the corner. So supple and sticky I could have swore they are 120 tpi. On 25” rim with tube, they came out to 40.25” with 65 psi. On hard packed or 90% road use, this is it.

Can't say enough about how much I love these tires! Much faster than my Specialized Pathfinder Pros, rode a 100km gravel race with them and zero issues with flats or grip, hit 68kph on some of the downhills and never felt sketchy!

Purchased Brand New G-One RS Super Race V Guard in 40c size from Amazon. Installed tire a weeks ago and NEVER rode the bike not even a test ride as I had to work. Well first ride this morning and got maybe 100 meters and tire sealant sprayed out of a hole dead centre of the tire opposite to valve. Oh I did notice the tire not holding pressure but stupidly didn’t take it on!! How wrong was I. The tire is a defective one. How do I proceed for a replacement under warranty?? Thanks.

I was loving this tire for how fast it is rolls very nice. But 1st ride 8 miles into it. Sealant started coming out from tread area and didn't seal. Ruined a great day

Rapide et très robuste sur sentier

Opona bardzo łatwo się zakłada i osadza na obręczy, nawet bez użycia łyżek do opon. Opony zostały napompowane bez użycia kompresora! Po dodaniu uszczelniacza (po 40 ml na oponę) rozpoczynam pierwszą jazdę. Tu mnie czeka ogromne rozczarowanie. Po 20 km zaczyna brakować powietrza w tylnym kole. Dobrze, że miałem pompkę. Dojechałem do domu, napompowałem do 3 bar. Rano powietrza już nie było. Opon sprawdziłem w misce z wodą. Okazało się, że tylna opona po jednej stronie przepuszcza powietrze na całym obwodzie przy łączeniu bieżnika z beżowym paskiem ale tylko po jednej stronie... Druga opona ma te same objawy ale w mniejszym stopniu. Straciłem czas i nerwy. Liczę, że Amazon przyjmie wadliwy produkt. UPDATE Po dodaniu dodatkowej porcji uszczelniacza opony uszczelniacza się i dobrze trzymają ciśnienie. 500 km przejchane po szutrach różnej jakości nie zrobiło na tych oponach żadnego wrażenia! Szybko i pewnie na szutrach i piaskach! Moja opinia o tych oponach zmieniła się o 180 stopni!

Best upgrade I have made to my gravel bike. Really fast on the road and great on gravel!! Not the best grip in wet mud but excellent on other terrains.

Well worth it. Extremely happy. Fast tires, even on pavement. Saw my speed average go up by 4 km/h. Previous tires were crappy mind you. They are also pretty good in sand/loose gravel and mud considering the lack of middle treads.

Whilst the tyre has a really good handling, less than 100k covered and I’ve had x2 punchers and a now a spilt in one that means it’s unassailable. The rubber is so weak and has caused me so many headaches over the past few weeks.
