The Stonekeeper's Curse: A Graphic Novel (Amulet #2)

It almost feels like this is where manga and western comics meet up in the middle.The art in this book is sublime, attention to detail astounding and the lines crisp and clear. The print quality is very good and shows off the work nicely.In terms of the story, it's a continuation from the first book, of course, and so if you're looking to get into the story I'd recommend starting there. For those Who have read the first one, this sequel does not disappoint! It's equally fast-paced and as engaging as it is delightful.Be warned, however! It is expected to go on for around 10 volumes, so be prepared to sink some serious capital into this!

Skimmed through the book as I hadn't read the first one yet, had good delivery and looks amazing.

Great series of books that 10 year old asked for after reading the first book.

This was brilliant! Book 2 follows on just as book 1 ends. This features some pretty epic battles, strange characters, wisdom-filled trees, a fight to keep power from taking over and the power of working as a team. This is gorgeously illustrated! Really love Leon and I hope he sticks about! I need to get my hands on book 3 now!

Delivered quickly

I bought this for my 8-year old neice's birthday, and she absolutely loved it. So much, in fact, that I've had to go out an buy the whole series for her (yes, I am wrapped around her little finger).She's always been a keen reader, but not got in to comics before. Now - because of the Amulet series - she's got a real interest in comics and wants to read more.

This second volume picks up where the last story left off. Emily and Navin are trying desperately to stay ahead of the elves and to find a cure for their mom. The robots left behind by their great grandfather are doing their best to fill the kids in on the world around them and about the amulet that Emily now wears. But they can't provide much training on it. Enter Leon Redbeard, who helps the group escape the elves and meet up with the resistance...and provides Emily some much needed training on the Amulet. And before the end battles are fought and line are drawn. How will still be standing?The second volume is even better than the first. Kazu weaves a remarkable story through this series and presents strong, realistic characters. Another author might have tried to make Navin the hero or always looking to Emily to do things, but Kazu creates characters that are equally strong and provide encouragement and support to each other. Each new character that we meet has hidden depths to them and are more than they appear to be. I don't want to go into detail on that because its an important part of the story, but let's just say that everyone isn't who they appear to be.The artwork continues to shine and each new image gives us more and more detail into this new world that surrounds us. There are so many details to scope out and the detail given to each character is incredible. The scars, the fur, the nuts and bolts, each is given attention to make it unique to each character. And the colors. The colors are blow me away amazing with their vibrancy and life they bring to the characters.This series has something for everyone, whether young or old, male or female, robot or human, everyone can get into it. The first two volumes create an amazing ride and I look forward to see where we go next.

I think this is the most wild book I’ve seen I can’t think I recall all the things so far in this book. It is surely very interesting I can’t wait to see your third book and I love this one it’s very creepy exciting and very scary sometimes but I like it all the same!
