So, I've been trying out this cool gadget, the Glacier Fresh Sparkling Soda Machine, for a few months, and wow, it's seriously changed my soda game! Got it in July, got rid of my soda stream stuff to save space. It was good when it worked, but now pressing the handle stopped carbonating the water. Air was shooting out the back. With a camera I was able to see the broken air line behind the cylinder. No link for service. This machine is a small fortune and is unrepairable. There are better options available elsewhere for much less money.

The good: Achieves the holy grail that is a single on demand glass of cold sparkling water. Easy to use and easy to refill. The bad: - The manufacturer claims the device does not need cleaning. I just don’t see how this is possible. Bacteria will eventually grow inside the plumbing. They say to use filtered water, but unless actually using reverse osmosis water lime scale will eventually accumulate. - some of the plastic parts such as the water release button look like they are designed to eventually fail. Bottom line: great at what it does but seems likely to be one of those gadgets that fail at the warranty mark.

It takes around 75 seconds per 8 ounce glass of water, every single time. The water temp changes very rapidly.

The water is very cool and tastes great when it comes out. Anyone that wants an endless supply sparkling water should definitely buy this. Couple of cons. It is a little loud. There are two fans on the back and you can hear them if your house is very quiet like mine. Takes a little bit for the water to come out. The two-step process of filling the water container than adding CO2 is not great but works pretty good. When you're adding CO2, be sure not to overfill (stick to the 3 seconds they recommend). It just waste CO2 and you'll go through your container quickly.

This thing is now beyond broken. Cannot recommend. Lasted less than 6 months. Previous Review: It's an okay seltzer maker. I really hate the design than forces you to use the co2 bottles instead of being able to use a hose to hook up to a much larger co2 canister. The amount of seltzer it produces at a time is rather small, doesn't even fill up a glass, and it takes forever to "pour"

It is pricey and I purchased this top of the line unit knowing that you can make carbonated water with much cheaper ones sold in Amazon. But, as usual, beauty comes at a premium. This is a well made product with cooling feature that works well with one hand! I am a big seltzer drinker, but want to cut the down the amount of plastics used. I love this machine as it makes me feel that I saved tons of cans and bottles. It is used constantly and has worked perfectly since I bought it.

Had waited 10 Days for delivery to finally receive the machine which I was so excited about and the cooling function is not working! Returning and will not order again from this seller.
