John Mayer

When I saw this album on amazon - which is actually 3 albums for the price of one - it didn't take me long to click the purchase button and wait by the mailbox for my order to arrive. It's a great album (well, three albums) by a great artist. John Mayer is a musical genius. His vocals, guitar play and lyrics all live up to your expectations and are equally as incredible. Update: For those of you wondering: This is indeed 3 albums in 3 separate cases. (They're held together by another cardboard case)

I am new to John Mayer's talent, the first time I saw the DVD, it was so tender & moving and musically excellent I cried, and I am a 70yr old bass player,(tough & looks like an old boot), who by this measure is lacking in skills, bless you John, I highly recommend this superb DVD as an example of how modern blues type music should be interpreted, by a man and his band of immense talents.

Great intro to the music of John Mayer. Played in my car for the last three weeks.

I’m new to John Mayer so still getting used a different style of music. There’s no doubt he can sing and play guitar and the guitar work when needed is very good. John tries many genres of music which makes it interesting enough for me to keep listening

Discovered this guy a couple of years ago on a music channel in Madeira. Watched and listened with increasing disbelief, and growing pleasure. Didn't expect to come across a Hendrix competitor in my lifetime, but John mayer may well be it.

John Mayer is simply masterful. A massive talent and these recordings are not disappointing. Wonderful!!!

Great price and a good jumping off point for John Mayers back catalogue.

I had heard a couple of live performances of Mayer playing the guitar and I was very impressed. I though this cheap bundle of recordings would be a good way to discover him. It seems he spits himself into two parts. The earnest singer-songwriter who delights teenage girls worldwide and the promising guitar player who can certainly boss a Strat. I think these recording showcase the former, not the latter. But if you are a teenage girl, you get a lot of bang for your buck with this set.

Contiene tre dei suoi album migliori: Continuum, Heavier Things e Room For Squares, ognuno con canzoni indimenticabili che spaziano tra blues, pop e rock con la solita maestria che lo contraddistingue. La qualità audio è eccellente e il packaging è semplice ma ben curato. Perfetto per chi vuole riscoprire i suoi primi lavori o per chi si avvicina alla sua musica per la prima volta. Un acquisto che consiglio assolutamente! 🎶🔥

Von J.M. kannte ich nur das eine Lied aus dem Radio und das ist ja auch schon älter. Fand ich eher belanglos, Radio halt. Kommt ja eh nur Schrott. Dann sah ich J.M. bei einem Auftritt bei Raab und fand das vorgetragene Lied cool. Auch der Musiker hat mir imponiert: Wie er auf das affige Getue von Raab reagiert hat, echt cool. So habe ich mir dann verschiedene Sachen angehört und die Musik hat mich angesprochen. Gute, handgemachte, ruhige und tiefsinnige Rockmusik. Vielleicht trifft die Kategorie Singer/Sonwriter das ganze am Besten. Ist natürlich Ansichtssache! Auf jeden Fall mal reinhören und Ihr wißt was ich meine. Ein Vergleich, der mir beim Anhören einfiel war Chris Rea. So von der Art her. Trifft es nicht ganz und vor allem nicht immer, aber manchmal schon. Ist aber Ansichtssache, wie gesagt. Und diese Box mit drei CDs war natürlich ideal. Und wenn ich sie mir oft genug angehört habe, kaufe ich mir vielleicht auch noch die neueren Sachen.

Quelle aubaine de pouvoir acquérir pour un prix modique les 3 albums de JOHN MAYER et de suivre , enfin , l ' évolution musicale de ses débuts jusque à l ' abouti CONTINUUM ( Le disque référence de l ' artiste ou il exprime toutes ses influences ). Découvert lors de son set au cours du Festival CROSSROADS de 2007 , tellement surpris et enchanté , par le jeu de guitare du bonhomme , j' ai acheté TRYO et puis le dernier Live de LOS ANGELES , pour apprécier toutes les facettes de l 'artiste . Guitariste inventif et moderne , dans son jeu , mêlant les influences blues rythm ' blues et ses compositions originales , ses trois albums valent toutes les compilations , que vous seriez libre de créer ou d ' acheter , dans le futur. Toujours bien accompagnés d ' excellents musiciens , dont certains ont joués derrière le Maitre JEFF BECK , trop méconnu , dans notre pays , sa musique plait , dés que l ' on lui accorde une sincère attention , lors de la premiére écoute .
