Great replacement for the original veja laces

I bought these based on the review. However, they were too long. I got the shortest size and I wear a 7. When I tied my shoelaces, the bows were so long. They were touching the ground on both sides of my shoe. I don’t like my shoes tied very tightly either. They were way more thick and stiff. They seemed like they belong in a pair of Vans shoes.

The shoelaces are nice but a bit expensive for only getting a single pair.

The shoelaces are what's expected. They are soft, high quality material (cotton), with hard aglets (plastic end of the shoelace) that don't seem shoddily glued on and ready to splay open at a moment's notice. The shoelaces have good length and will fit just about any shoe as they are of standard width. They have a little bit of flex so they'll withstand the rigors of working out and running. I'm pretty satisfied with the shoe lace order. They seem like they'll last longer than the laces that come with shoes typically and with that I recommend it. I ordered these laces in hopes that they would work for a pair of shoes I have that have ruined laces (though the shoes are in perfect condition). Unfortunately, I didn't make a good choice with these laces as they weren't a good fit for my shoes but I wasn't confident they would be from they start (my shoes aren't tennis shoes). The laces would be excellent for any pair of regular tennis shoes however. They are a great length and width though if your shoes have very small lace-holes they will be too wide. They are plenty long to double-knot and are high-quality and feel as though they will last a long time.

I wear a size 8 Veja sneaker and was hoping these would match or at least be a close match to the original laces. Unfortunately, they are thicker and they made my expensive shoes look cheaper. I wish I didn’t have to give this a low review but I think it is unethical to present these laces as a match for this particular shoe brand. They are essentially capitalizing off Veja’s reputable brand by offering laces that simply don’t match the originals. This personally strikes me as unethical and I feel this seller is misrepresenting their intended use.
