Perfect for the small office
I purchased this laminator as I needed to laminate some A3 mechanical schematics I had drawn for displaying in a plant room of a building. As I had several to do, the cost of out-sourcing to do the same job worked out more expensive than purchasing the laminator and a pack of pouches, plus of course you have the machine for future use. It arrived quickly and set up was as easy as plugging it in and switching it to the hot setting. This machine will also cold laminate. The A3 pouches I purchased were also by swordfish and once the laminator was ready it was very easy to feed the pouch through. Overall a very good product and worked very well for me.

Does a good job.
I was wary of buying office equipment for home as I've had items that don't meet expectations. This laminator has been one of my better buys.It takes A3 and A4 size sheets which I'd recommend buying as it's useful to have the option.I doesn't takes long to heat up,you just feed the laminating pouches straight in.No need for a cardboard sleeve. The sheets come out smooth and glossy,it does a nice job.Good for home and office,I'm pleased with this item.

Good quality laminator
This was bought for work and it is used quite a lot. So far we haven't had any issues with it. The laminator looks more expensive than what it was and with it being slim is easier to store.

Don't bother with this
Very disappointing. Arrived fairly fast and seemed good to start with but after a couple of jobs it started scrunching them up and not feeding them through properly, won't work if using a card feeder either so can't protect the pouches against it. Waste of money. Shall not buy swordfish products again.

Gets overheated
Was great for the first couple of uses then it would start to ruin the sheets going through

Good value, works well
I am surprised by the number of bad reviews for this product. I have used the laminator several times now with no problems at all. It worked well with both 150 and 250 micron pouches. I have not tried it for A3 sizes yet, but can't see why it would not work just as well. It is a smart compact design and for a cheap laminator I would suggest it is fine for occasional use.

Seemed good start with but jammed after 6 sheets
I can only award the minimum stars based on my experience here and if the fault has been mine, I'll re-visit and update. Although I bought this laminator back in December 2020, I have only used it three times. The first was back in June where 2 A4 sheets were processed successfully, then a few days ago 2 more A4 sheets worked fine. Today however an A4 thin card recipe was half way into the machine and veered off centre and became caught up inside, it was ruined when I reversed it out. I tried a 90 gsm A4 sheet to see if the card had defeated the laminator but that too did exactly the same. A further test using just an A4 pouch has left it jammed inside and has proven unejectable when using the hopeless unjamming lever. This levernon the back of the device looks totally unlike that featured in the manual which is described as a Reverse Feature, so I presume it does just that but it is not a switch as such and has to be held in position which is somewhat inconvenient if you are holding the exposed part of a jammed sheet with your free hand. I followed all of the usual procedures. I note that there is a 2 year warranty from Amazon so I'll see if I can get it sorted.
