I was about to buy a whole new vacuum because my Shark was only lasting two minutes, but this FirstPower replacement battery saved me a fortune. It was incredibly easy to install and fits my RV850 perfectly. The 3.2Ah capacity actually seems to last longer than the battery that came with the vacuum! It charges perfectly on the standard dock and hasn't given me any errors. If your vacuum is dying quickly, don't replace the machine—just get this battery. 5 stars!

Works perfectly for my shark vacuum, occasionally it does send an error code to my app when the battery is close to dying but still works. It seems to last just as long as a shark battery and for this price point it makes more sense to get this. Replacement took less than 10 minutes and was fairly straightforward. Will be buying again if it doesn't outlast my vacuum.

This worked great! My shark hadn’t been used a quite a while and the battery that came with it was toast. This battery not only fit perfectly but my shark was charged in no time! Great value for the product and it was super easy to install. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Battery only lasted a few months and now while it still can clean a majority of my basement on a charge, the vacuum notices the charge is low and will try and go back to the base to charge before finsihing its job but never makes it that far. It lasts for about a minute once the vacumm notices the charge is low. Didn't have this issue with the orginal battery. Update: purchased another new battery from elsewhere and same issue where vacuum just stops shortly after noticing low battery so clearly an issue with my vacuum and not the battery. Updated to 5 stars as works same as my new battery.

I noticed our Shark Matrix was starting to take three charges to clean the house (just under 2000ft). I started researching a replacement battery pack and ended up with FirstPower. Background: we purchased our Shark at a big box type store because it could hold up to a couple weeks sweepings while we were on vacation and otherwise busy with our lives. I opened up the little sucker to make sure we had a two prong power connector, it did. I ordered the FirstPower battery pack. When it arrived I replaced the original pack and let the little sucker charge up its new battery pack. I noticed the original pack was a small 1900mah battery pack! The FirstPower was a much larger 3200mah. The voltages were identical. Well my little Shark takes one charge to clean the whole house now. It functions just like when it was new. The physical size of the two packs measures the same, the run time is MUCH better, This seems to be an upgrade that needed to be done much sooner. Money well spent as a lower mah batter pack from the manufacturer is more than double the cost of a FirstPower when I was looking for a replacement. UPDATE 4/24/2026 Well my Shark is now unable to clean more than one small to medium (12x12ft) room without a recharge. I’m needing another replacement at what seems to be way too soon. Changed my rating from five stars to one star.

We’ve purchased three of these FirstPower 3.2Ah replacement batteries over the years for our Shark Ion robot vacuum models. Two of them worked exactly as expected right out of the box and restored our vacuum’s runtime to a level very close to what we experienced when it was new. Installation was straightforward, and once installed, the vacuum charged normally and resumed its regular cleaning cycles without issue. In day-to-day use, the battery delivers consistent performance for routine floor cleaning. For us, that means maintaining hardwood and low-pile carpet areas on a standard schedule. It’s significantly more cost-effective than replacing the entire vacuum, and when the battery functions properly, it’s a practical way to extend the life of the unit. The reason this isn’t a 5-star rating is that one of the three batteries we ordered did not work upon arrival. To Amazon’s credit, the return and replacement process was smooth and hassle-free, but receiving a nonfunctional unit does raise some minor quality-control concerns. That said, with two out of three performing well long term, we would still consider it a reasonable aftermarket replacement option.
