Excellent build quality and ease of use. All the Marcato products we own and use are top quality and should last a very long time.Thoroughly recommend all Marcato products. Just make sure you follow the instructions and do NOT wash in water.

Faulty again, Marcato’s products are such poor quality
I have a series of Marcato pasta machine products. This is the fifth part. I had to have the add on parts because I made the wrong investment of buying their pasta machine which also first came faulty, leaving metal debri in my dough sheet every time it passes through. Had to get that replaced. The replacement doesn’t leave debris but is temperamental/inconsistent in operation. There are other faulty experiences with them too. Now this linguine cutter arrived faulty (not surprised now) with the spindle in the back loose and the mechanism shakes while turning the cutter. Shocking. Time to buy a different brand pasta machine all together perhaps!

Difficult to clean although cuts well
Easy to use if Pasta is the correct consistency. However, cleaning has proved very difficult compared to the cutters that came with the machine. The problem is that the rods are so tight that they do not slide across. To clean I have to remove the end panels & use a stubby screwdriver, slot it into the bulbous end & pull the rod out to remove the rod & clean the plastic elements. I assumed that this was because it was new & would loosen over time but it hasn't.

Poor Quality. Very disappointed
Rollers are loose and not properly aligned so the linguine strands do not separate properly.Poorest quality Marcato accessory I own. Quality has gone down hill. Pity. Very disappointed.

Hard to open to clean
The pin behind is supposed to slide out easily for cleaning but it doesn't. Perhaps my thumbs are not strong enough. I have to disassemble the casing to take the pin out. Otherwise it works. But the cleaning is a pain

Do not take it apart to clean - clogged on first use
Clogged up on the first use, then took apart to clean it which was a mistake as you need to be an octopus to put it back together again. Do not take it apart to clean it’s impossible to put it back together. Went straight in the bin
