DR Tite Fit 11s have a tone that is full and bright at the same time; allowing you to play many different styles of music. If you need more of a Jazz tone, roll your EQ back a little on the highs and you can really hear the richness of the upper mids and tightness of the lows. If it's a Rock tone you are looking for, scoop it just a touch in the mids and add your favorite distortion and it's there. Want Country tone? Cut some of the lows, bring up the upper mids and add just a little bit of the super high frequencies for that nice glassy tone. All that being said, the DR Tite Fit 11s have a very level amount of tone that can be enhanced in certain frequency ranges to give you a tone that you are looking for to fit whatever genre you are playing. The gauges are very nice because the #3(G) string is not too heavy or too light. Being an .018, the 3rd string is not to light making it sound a thin and is not to heavy like a .022, in some sets of strings, which are toooo mid-rangy giving you, or me, EQing problems. The #6(E) string is heavy enough (.050) to give you a nice tight low end that is not sloppy sounding like lighter gauges tuned to a low pitch. Also, when playing across strings, the individual string tensions feel very similar giving a more balanced playing experience. No string really stands out to my right hand when playing passages that require skipping or just going across strings, allowing one to keep a similarly steady pressure on the strings throughout the lick. Review: Glad I bought these over D'Addario - Was looking for new strings to drop down my LP-style guitar a full step to DGCFAD. I would normally grab some heavier gauge D'Addario strings since they're my go-to, but decided to check out DR since a friend of mine highly recommended them...and I'm glad I listened to him! The strings are nice and tight in this tuning, yet are still really easy to bend. Really well-balanced tones as well - I usually play heavily in the mids and lows (both of which sound amazing), but my few ventures thus far into higher tones with these strings have sounded great. Definitely liking them so far. Might have a new favorite set of strings. All in all, would definitely recommend and very happy I picked these up.

Sound Amazing!
Ever since I've came across these strings, I'm glued to them. DR Tite Fit strings just sound flat out amazing with long lasting clarity and life. These strings suit the type of music I play, stuff primarily like Killswitch Engage. The tone of DR strings are unique, there's just something about them that other strings can't compare. For drop C, the 11-50 set are my go-to strings. I started using these back in 2007, and I have yet to encounter a broken string with the craziest bends and vibrato. I have had a couple moments where intonation was a little finicky, but doesn't stop me from getting these. Very crunchy tone, sweet mids, lovely highs, the cleans are crispy and full sounding, and just feel great in the hands overall.

Yeah.
DR Strings are so underrated. They're very well made, rarely break, and they have a great tone. These are straight forward guitar strings with a round core. The round core may produce a noticeable difference in your sound. If you've never tried them, they're worth a shot. As for me, I won't buy anything but DR Strings any more.

Great strings. I've used them for years
Great strings. I've used them for years, can't remember the last time I broke a string. Never had a problem intonating or tuning them. Good quality strings with a long life too if treated well. For those of you looking to play rock/metal, I recommend the DR Hi-Beams instead! Tighter low end and a brighter sound, they work better for that style.

So easy to bend, nice tone
I put the on an old guitar that has high tension. No matter what string I used, even thin guage, I was not happy. This string is an 11 yet it's smooth and manageable to bend. The strings have a full rich sound with a nice bright shimmer. I am really happy with this string. Unless they make this same string in flat wound, I will probably always use this string on this particular guitar.

Long time fan of DR, and these prove yet again why.
Great feel, clear and articulate tone which seems to grab the pickups and not let go! Love some DR strings.
