Fiskars Universal Axe, Including Blade and Transport Guard, Length: 44 cm

I’ve used this a few times now in the woods and it certainly does the job. I’m personally not a big fan of the bulky sheath and integral handle but that’s just Fiskars’ style. It’s weighted well and easy to keep a sharpe edge. Do note that if you leave it wet under the sheath it’ll be prone to rust, so make sure to wipe off any moisture before stowing away

Very sharp Very durable - practically indestructible as far as I can see Feels good when using - good all rounder but I mainly use it for chopping short logs into kindling I imagine a Viking would have loved it back in the day too

As the title says it's an absolutely brilliant axe, weighted just right. Splits small diameter logs effortlessly and strips bark like butter. Their splitting axe I also highly recommend, easily splits large diameter logs.

Excellent - isnt cheap but worth the money. cuts through wood like butter lightweight comfortable to handle and awesome at chopping

Everything about this hatchet is top-notch. Sharp and holding its edge so far, safety cover that works and splits logs and kindling alike.

Very well balanced and sturdy, blade stays sharp. Fiskars tools aren't the cheapest but definitely worth spending the extra

Bought this to replace old axe and so far well pleased with it the handle bit longer than my others but I’ll get used to that may buy x7 for my back pack being bit smaller

This is a great bit of kit, the weight is spot on and the blade is excellent. You can get a really good edge with not to much effort

Ottima ascia, funziona e taglia molto bene. Da apprezzare il blocco manico-lama taglio, sistema che, diversamente da altri prodotti, evita lo stacco delle due componenti: manico e lama.
