Snap-n-Learn Surprise Squirrels

18-months old grandson loves these! He loves to take things out and put them back in. This was perfect for him. He’s learning colors, numbers, hand-eye coordination, and having fun. He loves the squirrels. These are quality made, fit nicely, are safe, and reasonably priced.

Kids played with this for hours! Keeps them busy while learning color coordination and counting.

One of our favorite brands for educational toys and the tub storage adds for extra quality production! My toddler plays with them daily. Numbers, colors, fine motor skills, and fun!

These are great fun! The squirrels inside are a nice surprise and the numbers help your little ones count. I thought the lids were going to be stronger but they’re really there for decoration and have no suction at all so if you’re looking for more suction maybe these are not the best. However, they are a lot of fun, super colorful and easy to travel with because the packaging is perfect.

My daughter loves these little squirrels. She is 2.5 & loves that she can match them up and count them, etc. They are sturdy plastic & feel high quality. Perfect size for little ones & love that they have a storage bin. The colors are bright & appealing. Another plus, you can take them in the bathtub! Such a fun & educational toy!

I work in a childcare setting and all of my kids adore this not only is it a great learning tool. It is easy to sanitize and clean, which is super important when you have a bunch of small children! The pieces are also nice sized so no worries on choking.

Das Eichhörnchen-Spiel wurde in einem Plastikeimer mit Deckel geliefert und entspricht den Produktbildern. Es ist für die Allerkleinsten gedacht und beinhaltet keine verschluckbaren Kleinteile, sofern man erstmal alle Verpackungsfolien entfernt hat. Diese finde ich schon recht viel, da jeder Deckel und jedes Eichhörnchen extra in Folie verpackt ist. Das hätte man vielleicht auch mit Pappe lösen können. Der Eimer bietet außerdem noch etwas Platz, was man auch noch verbessern und Material einsparen könnte, aber das ist hier nicht so schlimm wie bei manch anderen Spielen des Herstellers. Außerdem ist der Eimer an sich auch ein nettes Spielzeug und lässt sich dank des Griffs bequem herumtragen. Das Spiel besteht aus Plastik, wobei das Material weich und abgerundet ist. Die Eichhörnchen sind fast schon Handschmeichler, weil das Material so angenehm ist. Nur ein paar Eicheln haben geringe Schmutzstellen, was womöglich produktionsbedingt ist. Sie fallen aber kaum auf. Insgesamt sind 5 Eichhörnchen mit 5 Eicheln, bestehend aus "Eimer" und Deckel enthalten. Die Eichhörnchen passen komplett hinein. So kann das Kind auch seine Motorik schulen und die Eicheln öffnen und schließen, wobei das sehr einfach funktioniert. Hebt man den Deckel an, öffnet sich dieser gleich. Der Verschluss ist also nicht fest, sondern nur aufgesetzt. Im Deckelinneren sind Mengenbilder zu sehen, die den Zahlen von 1-5 entsprechen. Eichhörnchen und Eichel tragen dagegen die Zahlen auf sich. Allerdings finde ich, dass die Menge-Zahl-Zuordnung eher im Hintergrund bzw. als Zusatz zu sehen ist, denn die auffälligen Farben fallen direkt ins Auge und so werden zuerst die Farben geübt und dann vielleicht noch Mengen, Zählen und Zahlen bis 5. Für das Zielgruppenalter der 1,5- bis 2-Jährigen reicht das auch völlig aus. Die Eichhörnchen sind zugleich Fingerpuppen, was zusätzlichen Spielspaß bietet. Alles in allem finde ich das Set ganz nett gemacht. Man könnte es auch mit in die Badewanne nehmen, denn die Eicheln haben unten zwei sternförmige Löcher, durch die das Wasser abfließen kann. Allerdings könnte mit der Zeit der Aufdruck abgehen. So oder so kommt das Spiel sehr gut an und ich kann es empfehlen.
