visor wash/wipe safety system

Fit's over the glove and doesn't interfere with your hand or finger control at all, in fact, your forget your wearing it until you require to use it...Not a bulky, eye-catching attachment at all. Simple to use, swipe Right to apply a damp cleaning solution and swipe Left to remove, it feels a natural movement to make after a short time, I do it automatically after wearing this a couple of times and it works great. Simple system that works really well what more would you need? I would suggest this is an essential piece of kit for the commuter(me) and the tourer, in fact all bikers to be honest. All biker's at some point have been caught out by the weather at some point and when that happens the ride becomes a serious challenge not just because of the wet, slippery roads but visibility diminishes down to a dangerous level, it's happened to me many times, the rain drops can be very distracting and annoying. This swipe and wipe is really worth every penny even if you only use it as the visor wiper it's a safety system that you really do need. The summer is on it's way(nearly March now) it will still be of use for removing the kamikaze flies and insects the visor seems to attract by using the swipe Right then Left method, doing this applies a film of water/cleaning solution that will remove the debris. You have no need to remove the system from your glove at all, it's still easy to slip the glove on and off with it attached, you'll probably only need to remove it to fill up the water pod that feeds the sponge but I don't even do that just I just hold it under a slow running tap. As you can probably tell I'm very impressed by this Wash/Wipe and would definitely recommend it to other bikers.

Fits comfortably over gloves and works reasonably well, maybe a little expensive for what it is but on the other hand being able to clear your visor from drying spray is priceless

Have to say I'm not hugely impressed so far. But I'll persevere for a bit longer. The wiper part doesn't actually close over the sponge, it sort of flaps around over it. The visor wipe on my glove works better as a visor wipe. Also the sponge and reservoir seem to dry out very quickly, I don't want to have to fill the thing up every day, and it is tricky to know how much liquid to put in.

This is an amazing bit of kit. Sits on your glove minding its own business so you don't even know its there until you need it to get that dirt that lorry just spat at you off so you can see again. Many times on my 20 mile commute in the winter I've needed to pull off the dual carriageway because of road dirt. Not anymore. A couple of wipes with this and you have a clean clear visor again. No different to wiping your glove across your visor to get rain off but no chance on smearing. Stays on your glove when you remove them. Understand its great on summer flies too but not had the chance to try that yet. Never want to be without this. I must have for all riders in my opinion and worth every penny.

I very much like this. It works and was the best thing in winter to wipe off the salt that the lorrys would spray up off the road on cold, dark, winer mornings. But now I need a new sponge and this product isnt as popular as I would like.

I had high hopes, but it just didn't work that well. There isn't a lot more to say, other than it isn't the solution to the age old problem of stopping and digging out the V wipe and polishing rag. Imagine, if you had to clean the drivers side of the windscreen with a sponge/squeegee thingy whilst travelling at 60mph instead of just switching on the wipers and giving it a shot of screen cleaner from the jets.

Totally useless in hot weather. I bought this for a European tour but in heat above 30 degrees every day the thing just dried up all the time. After 3 days I just packed it away and have never used it since.

great product for touring when its raining, issues i found was it uses a lot of the fluid as it seems to dry up when you are in warm countries making it impossible to use when you get a fly on your visor making a big mess which then need you to stop and clean with a cloth

Emballage sommaire et tant mieux, bien protégé, c'est un bel outil de conception intéressante et qui semble durable, au premier abord, l'utilisation est difficile mais après quelques jours de tests, on finit par acquérir le geste! Visorcat® porte très bien son nom, tu te prends pour un chat. Je pense que j'y arriverai de mieux en mieux...un bon outil c'est surtout un bon geste! Bravo et merci. Je recommande même si le prix livré peut faire tiquer et pour les petits malins, le produit à vitre pour voiture compatible polycarbonate va très bien. Je l'acheterai de nouveau les yeux fermés d'autant plus que c'est artisanal et distribué depuis l' Écosse...importateur qui lis ce message...pourquoi ne pas essayer et les vendre en France! V à tous. Ansich ein ganz gutes Produkt, die 2 Gummi Lippen eigenen sich sehr gut um das Visier von Regen zu befreien und somit ein klares Sichtfeld wieder zu bekommen. Auch der schwamm funktioniert ganz gut mit dem visier Reiniger. Alle beiden Funktionen kann man gut während der Fahrt anwenden nach kurzer Übung. Stören tut er auch nicht. Nur hat er ein großes Problem, und zwar ist der schwamm und der Flüssigkeit tank nach gut 1 - 2 stunden fahrt komplett ausgetrocknet und somit nur noch als Visier Wischer zu gebrauchen.

I love the idea of this but in reality it doesn't work well at least for me it didn't. I am one of those kind of riders that hate bugs on my visor constantly wiping. I bought this because it seemed awesome. I tried it and it smears everything and then wiper doesn't wipe that good. I'm still using it though for now until i get something better. It is not worth the money , I almost feel robbed, what they are asking for you to pay.

This is a great idea. It tries to solve for not having a windshield wiper to clear off a faceshield. While it does that job, it does leak all the washer fluid out within 1 days use (a couple of times use). there needs to be something to hold the strap to the device when tightened. It just flaps around. If you want a wiper for your helmet and dont mind a good amount of leaking preventing use for 2 consecutive days, get it.
