Very loud for an inexpensive product
Bought this as a little extra security, very loud for the price of the product, annoying there is no key fob or other way to key in the code but otherwise very happy with it.

For light security or chime functions, it works well enough
Fine for giving a little light security to your shed, caravan, back room or just letting you know that someone has entered your shop or home. Unlike some similar units, there is no remote fob and the unit is instead operated by a four digit code (using the front mounted, keypad consisting of only four buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4) with two further buttons (for selecting chime or alarm mode and โlearningโ a new passcode hidden inside the screw down battery compartment. It comes with screws, raw plugs and instruction sheet. Iโve tried using it free-standing but the bottom is too narrow and it falls over with a slight vibration, so if youโre using it in, say, your caravan, find something to attach it to. Easy to use and somewhat secure. Itโll take long enough to disable that you could hear it if you were near enough, but itโs not going to protect anything isolated or in a noisy environment. Have a care when opening. Contained within customer-proof blown plastic, this requires a blade or scissors to open, and leaves sharp edges on the packaging remnants, so have a care when opening and please remember the 3 AAA batteries youโll need to make it work and a philips screw driver to get into the battery compartment.

very Poor Qiality and High Price
This product looks very cheap and Plastic material is also very cheap. The most critical part is the keys used to enter the 4 digit code. This unit is poorly design, when you enter the code most of the time the internal electronic contacts does not work, and hence your will not be able to enter the code on time triggering the the Alarm. It has happen with me on several occasions. I am computer guy and have got string fingers, but if you have stiff fingers or then i you will definitely struggle when entering the code. I also wish this unit should have been connected with Android or IOS phone for better control. Thank you for reading the review.

Useful in theory, but very easily bypassed
This is a small standalone alarm with a motion sensor, keypad and siren built into the same box. It's designed for protecting single rooms, sheds and the like. It's easy to set up - screw the bracket to the wall with the enclosed screws and wallplugs, or just stand it on a shelf. The alarm is powered by three AAA batteries, which fit into a compartment held shut with a screw on the back. Once the batteries are fitted, you press the "learn" button inside the battery compartment and can then set a 4-digit code with which to arm or disarm the alarm. Enter the code to arm; you then have a 45 second exit delay to leave the protected area - on re-entering the area, you have 30 seconds to enter the code again to disarm. If you don't disarm in time, the siren goes off - in a confined space, the noise it makes is deafening and would make staying anywhere near the alarm physically unpleasant. So far so good, but the trouble is that it is far too easy to defeat the alarm. You have to site it within arm's reach, as otherwise you can't reach the keypad, and if you can reach it, you have 30 seconds to unclip it from the bracket, unscrew the battery compartment (10 seconds max) and remove the batteries. Or just put it on the floor and stamp on it; throw it in a convenient pond etc - you get the idea. I can't honestly think of any way to avoid this fundamental flaw, which renders it next to useless. A shame, as the idea is initially appealing.

Easy to install, great for security

Easy to set up; loud alarm (hence a bit painful to switch off). Works well as doorbell too.

Someone often jump over my fence in the middle of night. Doing what? In order to get close enough to my neighbourโs mobile phone for implant the malicious code in smart phone. For what? Stealing password of online banking. It is become so populous now doing this for thief(so called hacker) . I tried all of ways by installing two ip cameras focus at place this guy standing. No use, why? Because ip camera is so easy to hack and controlled by thief. For example, thief can use radio to disable the motion detection of ip camera. Finally, I get this alarm from Amazon. It is controlled by code. It means thief no way to disarm this device unless he know the code. Simply enough. Now what? No more jump over fence at mid night. It is solved by 30 bucks device . Now thief parking the car in the front of my neighbour house. I know they change the way to doing same thing. It is not my business now. It is purely public security. I have informed neighbours about this. However, nobody can stop this.

UPDATE : To whom it may concern....I bought this unit in 2015 as a security feature for an outdoor medical cannabis garden. I was thinking twice when I saw the low price of this unit but 2 years, and 3 crops later this is STILL my "go to" for security in the garden. It'll wake me out of a dead sleep inside my house 100ft away and is very sensitive. I am woken by the raccoons foraging in the berry patch regularly but better safe than sorry right ? You can use them outdoors as long as you build little "birdhouses" for them, but the point is they can save you BIG bucks, and are obviously worth the price if I can get through 3 crops with it ! GREAT little unit !!! Going to buy more myself ! UPDATE 2018 ; This little bugger just keeps working ! Best 20 bucks I ever spent. It's been through just about everything but just keeps going, and going, and going......LOVE IT !

Solid, easy to use, nothing too complicated , well designed, yet enough functionality. Very good buy, I think.
