What style for vasectomy recovery? Pouch only or one with leg straps?

I didn't have their jock, but when I had my vasectomy I used their boxer briefs for sleeping. I'm a side sleeper and those have enough lift and separate to push my junk far enough out that I wouldn't smash it in that position. The support of the boxer briefs wasn't enough for me during the first week or so of recovery when up and about though. I needed total immobility so I'd say the strapped jock is probably a better bet, but RM (for me anyway) is more about separation than constricting motion. Good luck and I'll say it's totally worth it.

I did not watch the video but the pouch is not secure e Pugh to hold my goods! Hope this helps. Aussiebum sakes something similar and they say in their description that it does not hold the goods well.
