Can the front LED indicator lights be switched off?

No I’m afraid, I just cut a small piece black electrical tape and tape over it

Was disappointed to find that ac infinity aircom s8 has a us power plug only is it okay to use a travel plug to convert to uk

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your product question. This can unit comes with a 100-240V AC adapter that has a 110V power plug on it. If you need to plug this unit into a 220-240V power source then you would just need to use a travel adapter to allow that 110V plug to fit into your countries power outlet type. Best Regards

Can the legs be removed on this unit as i checked the dimensions before buying but it turns out the sizes didn't include the legs?

Yes I removed the legs, it’s just a few screws 👍

Will this work well in a enclosed cupboard?

I wouldn’t recommend it unless you intend to put vent holes in the back of the cupboard and put the unit directly in front of them. You will also want vent holes in the bottom so it can draw cool air in. For instance, if you have an AV receiver that would be placed at bottom above vent holes with th fan unit on top of it and exhaust holes behind it.
