Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Wii)

Me and my girlfriend love the LEGO games. This is one of the better games in the franchise

My husband and I are both big original Star Wars fans, I remember going to the cinema with my parents to watch Star Wars (A New Hope) at the age of seven and loved it! I bought this game for my 3.5 year old and 7.5 year old for Christmas, neither had seen the Star Wars films and they looked a bit disappointed when they opened it. But they had no need to be, because it quickly became their favourite game on the wii (and mine!). They are now compltely hooked on Star Wars and have asked to watch all the films. The game itself follows the films story lines well, and each level has its own challenges and things to work out to get to the next level. I would recommend it to all ages, though my 3.5 year old can play on it he needs one us to play too as he often doesn't fully understand what needs to be done. We don't have the optional light sabers you can buy, as I didn't fancy things being knocked over as the kids swung them around. Wii remote and nunchucks work fine.

Good game, great value, plays well

This was my first Wii game purchase after the bundled games that came with the Wii: Wii Sports Resort and a bunch of barely-playable EA games. I was looking for something specifically Wii-ish, and unfortunately I didn't find it in this game. The thing is, when it comes down to the technical side, the Wii is an underpowered, outdated console compared to the PS3 and XBox 360. However, it makes up for it with the innovative controllers: the MotionPlus, the wobble board, and so forth. Unfortunately, third-party game authors want to produce a game that they can sell on all platforms, and that means they end up designing the game for the lowest common denominator set of features. So, no Wii motion features, and the Wii just ends up acting as a previous-generation console. This game in particular suggested that you could "wield your remote like a lightsaber!", but it's just misleading: the motion features are so basic they might as well not be there. It's certainly nothing like wielding a lightsaber. The game itself seemed fun to start with, but ended up a bit repetitive after a while. The much-vaunted humour wasn't particularly apparent, and I got stuck in a few tedious puzzles that left me resorting to Googling for the solution. I played through Episode 1 and Episode 5 one weekend before I got bored and went back to Wii Sports Resort. The next morning, I cancelled my pending orders for the other Lego Wii games. I'm giving this one an extra star just because it's not a short game and effectively gives six separate games in one. As a result, if I enjoyed it a little more, I think it would be good value for money.

I find it hard to believe that children at the age recommendation for this game would be able to master it! I hoped our 5 yr old would enjoy it but it takes an adult to master the skills required and the moves needed to enter different levels.

This was bought for my daughter and I to play together. She's only recently been introduced to the Star Wars films and immediately loved them. Being our first purchase in the series of Lego games, it took some getting the hang of ... but before too long we were enjoying our lightsaber battles and using the force like a true Jedi. The plot closely follows that of the films and there are lots of puzzles to solve and places to explore (if any of the puzzles has you stumped, there are lots of online guides to help you through). While the game can be played "single player", many parts are easier with two players (so long as they are both reasonably competent). Each episode features one or more cut scenes. These add humour by gently poking fun at the films. There are lots of characters and special powers to unlock and the various game modes mean there are many, many hours of gaming here. At under £15 this is an absolute bargain.

I bought a Wii 1.5 years ago and have made do with Wii Sports/Brain Academey/Wii fit. This is my first foray into a true game and I have to say I think it is excellent. My last games were 10-15 years ago on Doom/Duke Nukem etc and have not played anything since. My six year old who had not really played a game before loves playing it and picked it up so easily. The cio-operative mode is great so it is not a case of children playing on their own, though you have the option to drop out and resume when you need to make tea, get back to jobs etc. Overall the levels are interesting and give a great feel of the Star Wars saga. As with everyone elses in comments the lack of proper light sabre control was a shame (but having read reviews I knew what to expect and therefore was not disappointed.) My fave has to be the snowspeeder battle on Hoth...worth the £15 by itself ignoring the other 159 levels.

Como todos los juegos de lego, super original, entretenido y de muy buena calidad. Viene totalmente en español y trae muchas historias y pantallas ocultas. La única pega del juego es que con dos jugadores no permite partir la pantalla como si lo hacen otras versiones de Lego Star Wars lo que provoca que un personaje arrastre al otro. El juego funciona perfectamente y viene muy bien embalado.

ho comprato questo gioco per mio figlio di 5 anni. lo adora. Per ora giochiaamo in due ma stavelocemente imparando le basi dei comandi e le dinamiche del gioco ed a breve sara in grado di giocare da solo. Il prezzo era ottimo e il servizio di consegna rapido. sia l'acquisto che il gioco sono stati un esperienza molto piacevole.

Tons of fun!

Klasse Spiel. Wer Fan ist und eine Wii besitzt sollte zuschlagen. Die komplette Saga wird mit Lego durchgespielt und macht einen Riesenspaß. Die englische Version ist günstiger als die Deutsche und man kann Sie komplett in Deutsch spielen. Nach dem Einlegen ist sofort alles deutsch spielbar. Nur die Anleitung ist englisch, braucht man aber eigentlich nicht. Man erspielt dies eigentlich sofort. Ganz klar kaufen.
