This is a high quality device. It’s not too loud where it scares my dog, yet is powerful enough to dry him and blow out his coat. In fact, he loves the warm setting. It also works for getting his hair off my clothes.

We regularly give my Yorkshire terrier baths at home in between her grooms and use a hairdryer to dry her off after rainy day walks. I was concerned that the heat settings on my personal hairdryer might be too warm for her sensitive skin. After searching for the perfect dog-safe hairdryer for at-home grooming, I was thrilled to find the Jellyfish hairdryer. The name alone caught my attention — so cute! But as I looked further, I realized the Jellyfish was more than just an adorable name. It offers four different temperature settings, and its intelligent temperature control maintains a consistent blowing temperature, resulting in faster drying time compared to traditional home hairdryers. The Jellyfish also comes with multiple dryer attachments, allowing me to achieve the perfect blowout for my dog. What I love about the attachments is they lock onto the dryer with a twist, which prevents them from falling off during drying. Don’t be confused by its size, the Jellyfish is packed with power, I was able to dry Chloe in half the amount of time it usually takes thanks to the power of the jellyfish and it’s unique attachments. I regret waiting so long to invest in a high-quality dryer, but I’m so glad to finally have the Jellyfish dryer. Since using the Jellyfish, drying my Yorkshire Terrier has been quicker, and the various attachments have helped improve the quality of her blowouts, reducing tangles and knots. I also love how lightweight and portable the Jellyfish hairdryer is. It’s made grooming at home much easier and more efficient!

I was super excited to find this. If you have ever used a high powered dog dryer on a high shedding thickly double coated dog before, you'll know from experience just how game changing owning one of these can be. I have a large dryer, similar to the blue dryer I attached in the photo. It's large and heavy, but does an incredible job drying. I've gone through a few of them over the years, and despite having had two others that broke down, I have always repurchased. In comparison to professional grooming, it has saved me lots of money, and is so useful for shedding season. Finding a handheld dryer that claims to be just as powerful was too tempting for me to pass up. I purchased this one as well as the JellyFish and compared all three. The JellyFish and the UahPet are very similar. The UahPet in my opinion offered more diversity in attachments, felt a little thinner and sleeker, the power cord is slightly longer, and also offered more options in strength. The JellyFish offers two, while UahPet offers three. On first glance, I preferred the UahPet and thought they were basically the same, but after actually trying to use them to dry, the JellyFish proved to be a bit more powerful. I think it is because the nozzles are thinner which makes the air burst feel stronger. As you'd expect, both of these are lighter and quieter than my clunky high powered dog dryer, and both look better aesthetically. The problem is, neither of these are anywhere near as powerful. I think after attempting to dry using the UahPet, I got so tired, I swapped it for the larger one, which finished up beautifully. I can't imagine taking 20-30 mins+ just to dry my dog off. My large dryer takes far less time. Also, while the base of my large dryer is very heavy, the nozzle and hose are light, making it easy to use. If you are using a traditional hair dryer on your dog, yes, this will work better for your pet than that. This is also more travel friendly than a large clunky dryer. I was thinking of keeping one of these so long as they worked to use for travel, but after trying it out and directly comparing, I'm not sure if I will anymore. Such a bummer, it looks so much better, and if it could work as well, would be an easy decision to keep. As for price, my large clunky dryer was easily somewhere between 1/2 to 1/4th the price, if not cheaper. UahPet was about $10 cheaper than the JellyFish using the coupon, but they're comparable in cost. If you have the space and noise capacity for a larger dryer, it works much better. If you don't and don't mind the time, I guess one of these handheld dryers might be okay for you. If you have a curly haired pet, I think the UahPet might be best. Just some things to consider. UPDATE I decided to keep the JellyFish and return the UahPet. Despite preferring the UahPet in almost every way, the JellyFish had just a bit more strength which made enough difference to prefer during use. If I had a smaller pet or a pet with curly hair I may have kept the UahPet instead, but my dog has a long wooly and thick undercoat, and we needed the highest power setting using the smaller nozzle to really get her dry. After trying both out, it was a clear winner. It’s bittersweet, I really liked the UahPet more in all the other ways. I just really need something that can help cut drying time and be convenient to take around too. If it worked as well as the JellyFish in drying, I would have kept it instead.

Excellent Dryer. I have a short hair double coated dog breed that sheds twice a year for 6 months at a time. I gave her a bath for the first time in her life last week and this was a game changer. I towel-dried her first and then used the low setting with the nozzle attachment to get her used to it. Guys this thing is QUIET. My regular hair dryer is a freight train compared to this noise wise. Anyway this thing got her coat dry on the "cool" setting outside in 95℉. Then I used the wide nozzle on the high-velocity setting and really got her coat blown out down to the skin. Fur was flying everywhere and my dog is now fluffy and clean. This thing will be great when she is actually blowing her coat in a couple of months. Worth the investment.

I was very excited when this arrived, so I tested it and neither of our dogs wanted anything to do with it. I gave it about a week and introduced it to each of them separately with it turned OFF but plugged in and let them sniff it. After it passed the sniff test, I held it out as far as I could and turned it on the low speed cool temp and gave it a few seconds before turning it so they could feel the breeze and progressed from there. A little later in the day, they had baths and I was able to use the Jellyfish on both speeds and varying temps. They both did prefer the low speed around their faces and ears, but I wasn't surprised by that at all. Using this dog dryer cut drying time down considerably and also fluffed them out nicely. The size of this was easy to control and use with one hand. The attachments were easy on and off and worked well with both temps, just got a little warmer on the high speed. The straight design makes for less bending and for me that meant that it was easier on my back since I typically sit on the floor with them for drying. One of our pups is a four year old rescue. We have had her since August. Not knowing her history, I didn't know how she would respond, but like I have said they both did really well with the Jellyfish. To me it seemed even quieter than my hair dryer which I have used with them up to now. I am very, very happy with this purchase and would recommend!

Just got this today and used it on two of my Poms and it worked Great. They both did so well with it not scared at all like they are with the big canister type. The heat is wonderful on it and it dried them in half the time than it usually takes. Fantastic item will definitely recommend. I will update when I use it on my Chihuahua that tolerates absolutely Nothing that blows air. Well actually tolerates Nothing! lol Update.. did another bath day on 6 dogs and they all did so well with this little power house dryer.

Just finished bathing my corgi (who sheds like it’s his job and tonight decided that it would be funsies to roll in poop in the back yard right as the sun went down), and WOWEEEE. I used to dry him with my Dyson Super Sonic, but was getting concerned that his fluff was clogging the filter every time. I figured rather than having to replace my Dyson sooner than I’d like, I’d try this dryer that I’d seen someone use on IG and return it if it was crap. I cannot express how happy I am with this thing. It usually takes me nearly half an hour to dry him on full speed, low heat with my Dyson, but this thing just dried him in 7 minutes flat. My mind is blown. I appreciate how many temp settings it has. I switched back and forth between low, no heat, and cool since it was our first go. I would not recommend high heat on a house pet. Overall, 10/10. Worth the price.

人間用のドライヤーではなく、動物に使えるものが欲しくて購入。 水を飛ばすという感じで、背中や脚などすぐに乾いてくれます。 温度調整も段階的にでき、風量も２段階で調整可能。 風量が強いほうだと、軽めのまわりのものが飛んでしまう位強いです。その分、音も大きいです。風力と音に犬猫は逃げようとします。言葉で言うなら、ゴーという感じの音です。 風量が弱いほうだと音も穏やか、風も穏やかです。顔まわりは弱でないと犬猫は今後ドライヤーを嫌がるようになってしまうので、弱をおすすめします。言葉で言うなら、ホーという感じの音です。 アタッチメントが３種ついてますが、先が丸く筒になっているものが使いやすくてそれを一番使っています。 それなりに重さがあり、ずっと持っているのは疲れてしまいやりにくいため、置いた状態で使用しています。 固定ができないこと、重さがそれなりにあることが残念な点です。

コンパクトで扱いやすく、音もそんなにこわがらず風量が調整出来、乾きが速いのがいいですね！毛量が多い我が子にピッタリのドライヤーに出会えました。

音はまぁまぁするけど許容範囲です。今まで人間用のドライヤーを使っていたけどコレなら熱くなりすぎることもないので、犬にも安心して使える。買うかずっと悩んでいてブラックフライデーで思い切って購入したけど、もっと早く買えばよかった！コンパクトで幅も取らないし、時間も今までより短縮してすごくいい！
