Super sharp work of art!!!
This is a beautiful knife. It came very sharp, passed the paper cut test very clean. I did add some oil to make the action very smooth. This is a heavier knife so the flip action takes a bit more force. The blade and construction are very impressive. The grip is comfortable and the opening action is so smooth. I've never seen a knife this well made. This is a super good value, it's a work of art to me. You'll see what I mean when you get it. The knife quality is top notch. See pics

A Really Good Buy
Impressive knife, especially considering the low cost! Pluses: It's ruggedly made and feels strong and sturdy. It's a big knife. No blade play, no lock rock, no stripped screws (and the hardware is custom). It feels like you could hammer nails with this thing. It opens smoothly on bearings and in fact, among my various flippers this one may be the easiest to open. I mean, it flies open and locks with a satisfying snick. Also, it's just good looking. It doesn't look like your other knives, unless you happen to own the $1,100 Custom Knife Factory Decepticon, which this is mostly a copy of. Minuses: It's heavy, like a hammer, or like those old Buck knives your grandfather had. The detent is weak, which makes it easy to flip and so far it's good like this, but I worry it may eventually wear out. The finishing on the blade could be improved. It's not a big deal and most people won't notice, but there are some rough edges. The various facets, fullers, and bevels are very ambitions for a blade at this price point. Mine came sharp enough to cut things, but it's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. This particular steel, if we're to believe other Amazon reviews, needs to be kept a little oiled in moister climates to prevent corrosion. (This is not uncommon even in more expensive steels). All in all, I'd rate this knife an awesome score at this price, and I'm glad to add it to my collection. I'll even carry it sometimes... heavy or not. The design is beautiful and strange, the knife is sturdy and impressive looking, and bonus points for coming in blue and gold, the colors of my alma mater. If you're a knife person and don't have $1,110 for the CKF Decepticon, pick up this one, you'll be glad you did.

Good looking in my knife case
This knife is so good looking. It’s pretty heavy to carry without a belt to keep your pants up. The liner lock needed adjustment, way too tight and no jibbing to grab to push over. After adjustment, it’s great. The big thing for me is the good looks. It’s not a edc knife.

A much bigger and heavier knife than expected.
As with other Eafengrow knives, the quality of workmanship and finish are excellent. The knife is solid, everything works smoothly and fits tightly. The design is excellent and the 2 color, skeleton work frame is attractive. It is much larger and heavier than I expected from the pictures. It weighs around 9.35 ounces, a little over 1/2 pound. My pics show knife in my size large hand. The blade has no markings at all. The ad says it is D2 steel at 61 Hrc. Compared to other similarly hardened D2 knives I own, including other Eafengrow knives, this blade seems a little softer than 61 rockwell, and sharpens much easier than other D2. That is just my opinion when comparing to other knives I have sharpened. It does take a fantastic edge. This knife would be excellent as a hunting or camping knife. It is a little large to be comfortable as an EDC pocket knife. My wife intends to keep it in her car. If the knife performs as D2 should, this is an excellent and affordable purchase.

Eafengrow EF204
This is an exceptionally gorgeous piece of work. Mines clean. No scuff marks. No shoddy really rough edges on the scales. Don’t follow the logic with silver TORX screws holding the clip... should have been gold like everything else. I wouldn’t understand why anyone would want a deep carry as my thoughts would be it’s a blinger, you’d want everyone to see it, and it’s not a deep carry. EDC? Not. I like heavy knives personally. This however, would pull your pants down. Quick. It would make a good window breaker, faux brass knuckles, yada yada, but that would entail one actually carrying it. Not me. Won’t stay folded up tight. I can open it by the tip from closed and it’s a tip up carry. This makes it dangerous for EDC or even as a gift to non knife savvy people. I haven’t as yet disassembled it to address theses issues, but I intend to before my grandson handles it. Meanwhile it sure does look gorgeous when the light hits it. ;)

An Excellent Knife
An extremely well made knife that has good weight, and a very awesome appearance and design. I would put it up against knives ten times the price in value and quality.

Cool knife versus duty knife
It's a pretty nice size pocket knife, but I didn't get it to carry everywhere. With the bearing oiled up, the action is pretty smooth and I opened it about 124 times to see if it will loosen up. Still solid and has fairly nice working edge on it. I purchased this knife knowing it would be a little heftier, but the all aluminum handle makes it feel great along with the definitive lockup. If you don't mind the extra weight, then use it as a carry knife, but depending on how you use it, the weight can be advantageous even with it not being balanced toward the blade end. Does have some edges the may be hard on comfort while using but again I just like the way it looks so I rather carry another knife that I have. Not enough wrong to knock a star for the price. Cool knife versus a duty knife type of thinking.

This is the best folding knife I've ever bought
I've bought many knives in my 50+ years; some for looks, some for function. This Eafengrow EF204 is absolutely beautiful in so many ways. Even though it's not spring-assisted opening, the weight of the blade is such that if you simply hold the handle and drop your arm blade-side down and stop, you can have it open for you and lock in place with out any harsh or jarring flicking action. In spite of its ease of opening, the blade stays secure in the handle without any threat of it opening in your pocket. The clip on the side keeps it secure in your pants pocket or belt. The blade itself comes sharp enough to shave leg hair off. Best of all, the blade doesn't have any play at the joint. It's built solidly. Its style is amazing. If I didn't know any better, I'd say someone designed it as a prop for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (If it was, please let me know!) The knife overall is heavier than most knives. Bottom line, I can't see how anyone could have anything bad to say about this knife. Buy it knowing you're getting a very high quality product. I might actually buy a few more in case I loose mine.
