Eat Barbecue Rub (Most Powerful Stuff, 29 Ounce)

Rod Gray knows BBQ. The man won many BBQ awards and championships with his rubs. This rub has got a teriyaki type flavor that goes well with just about any type of protien. The heat in this rub is a bit much for my wife’s but I love it!

Salty, peppery, a hint of sweetness, a little more than a hint of spiciness but not much more. Overall, it's delicious. I'm a huge fan of barbecue runs in general and this stuff is easily in my top five favorites out of well over a hundred that I've gone through. This is particularly great on pork and chicken, in my opinion. I am always stocked up on this stuff, they could charge twice the price and I'd knock a star off of my review but I'd still buy it, it's that good.

This is the stuff you need if you're a serious BBQ pit master. OK, I know that many of you out there think that a serious pitmaster would make their own rub--and I have--but this stuff gets the job done. First purchased it at Joe's Kansas City (the one in the gas station in KCK) a couple of years ago, and I am so happy to be able to order it online! Of course, I can't leave well enough alone--so I add about 1 part brown sugar to three parts EAT. Rub your spareribs or brisket 36-38 hours before firing up your cooker, and your friends will be amazed with your results. (Full disclosure: as a guy with a shaved head, occasional glasses, and facial hair, I've managed to convince several acquaintances that the EAT stands for Eric A's Team, and that's me on the bottle. It's not. But I like to have fun with stuff like that.)

After try a TON of rubs, this is by far my favorite. One of my biggest complaints with rubs is that you can't really taste the flavor or that BBQ flavor that we all love. Not the case with this one. It has great flavor and works with just about any food you apply it to. Pork is favorite however with this brand. This is a solid A+ in my book.

If you barbecue - this is an excellent base rub for just about anything. It works amazing as-is, and blended with other rubs. It also works wonderfully when boiled into an injection sauce. We were previously purchasing the smaller 6oz bottle but going through them too fast - que in this big boy. Now we just refill the small bottles with the big bottle! If you're on the fence with this product, buy it.

Had no flavor. Waste of money don’t get. Does have a small spice to it but other than that it’s cheeks. Don’t get this seasoning it’s expensive and a waste.
