Stronk magnet
The 600lb magnet seems to be fairly impervious. I put one on my 3ft shed door, and another on my 4ft shed door and they both hold well. Wiring was straightforward since it is only a two wire affair. The various brackets that come with it enable a diverse way to install the magnet, and it comes with two depths of bolt which is helpful depending on the depth of your door. Word to the wise: some of the captive hex screws can be a little tight. Don't be afraid to put some elbow grease into them.
