Very high quality
This tool is awesome. It might be nice if one of the pair of fingers was slightly longer than the other so that it would reduce the risk of slippage. With care in alignment itโs not really a problem but would be nice to have. It made easy work of swapping struts out that were installed for more than 20 years with this and a quick shot of PB blaster. Very high quality. The tool had the right amount of hardening on the alloy steel without being over hardened to brittleness.

Well made and handled every turn I put into it! Great product amazing price!

A time and energy saver
A time and energy saver, I don't even know how its possible to do the job of separating the shock from the steering knuckle on our Mazda3 2012. Even after cleaning and applyinh anti seize inside the hub, without using this tool to pry the jaws outward, there is no way the shock simply slides in the knuckle. Even with proper alignment and a jack.
