Blue Monkey Funkpod - White Bluetooth Speaker

I have bought Blue Monkey portable speakers before and been very happy with them so when our Granddaughter was sorting out for going to college I purchased the same make ,a different model , but same maker the speaker arrived next day ,Prime , we tried it out coupled to the mains and great sound from such a small speaker coupled it to her phone Bluetooth spot on ,tried it with a micro SD card great left it on charge for two hours and nothing it would not work from the battery tried it with different chargers and leads still nothing ,sent it back to Amazon ,great return system, and ordered another of the same thinking it could just be a faulty one that came and that had the same fault returned that one and am looking at a different make maybe it is a faulty batch but I don't trust them now ,shame as it really is a great sound.

I have purchased several of these bluetooth speakers and I have had my second one for a few weeks now and I have to admit they are first class. A few of my friends including my wife are very impressed with them and have also bought one. I had to buy two becuase my wife pinched my first one. Considering it measures 6in in diameter and 5in high and it's fairly heavy for it's size, the sound quality is amazing. It has a battery life of around 10hrs with charging taking around 2hrs. You can also charge it and use it at the same time or just run it on mains using the right charger which I bought from Asda for £4. The charge light goes out when it's charged anyway. As to Bluetooth, I tried my phone and tablet which are both Samsung and they worked perfect. You can also answer your phone through the speaker. I tried a Bush mp3 player wired but that was not brilliant even though it did work. Probably more to do with the mp3 player. The speaker also has a micro SD card slot with a built in mp3 player and that is fantastic, using an 8gb micro SD card and mp3 files. You can change tracks whether you are on bluetooth or using the built in mp3 player. The speaker is well worth the money and the major points are the exellent build quality with superb sound quality, the built in mp3 player and the 10 hour battery life.

Product does not hold it's electrical charge.Charging lead too short.Volume not loud enough.

I travel a lot with friends and we are always in need for good music. The days when you have to find a make-do cup to put your iphone in so the volumn goes a little louder, or having to carry cumbersome speakers with cables on the beach etc, are OVER!This little funkpod, only needs 2hours charging time, and you and your friends are set for 10 hours of amazing sound system! It is so easy to use once you read the instruction which is very easy to understand (and very short so it only takes 1 min to read).It comes with a blue container bag so you can carry it with you making sure it stays clean. The sound is so good, you won't be able to go back to your PC/MACbook inbuilt speakers after you use this little Funkpod- in case you want to use it other than for holidays.I didn't buy the one with the SD Card as I normally don't use them. But I like the fact that this still has the SD slot so it doesn't tie me down if I wanted to invest/use SD card in the future!All in all, a great product, great sound, looks good and it's affordable! Very happy with this product!

Love this little gadget, it arrived quickly after ordering and has been in constant use since, it's a power house of sound, good quality and surprisingly loud for it's size, I find the addition of a micro SD slot very useful as I can take it out in the garden or summer house without extra gadgets and just play the list on the card. The blue tooth is great and links easily and quickly to assorted gadgets. A travel pouch and charging cable are provided with the product, the pouch though not vital proves to be a bonus as it helps to locate the product in various bags, it being bright blue!! The devices charges quickly and lasts for a good few hours before the sound becomes distorted when the battery is going. The only downside would be the volume control takes a little getting used to as it is a combined switch with the track skipper, though it does respond to volume control on the gadgets you are using, all in all I would recommend it and would buy again.

I get great sound when I use this on my iPad. Charge last for a long time. One warning, don't kink the wiring connectors as they are very flimsy. In fact my kitten crunched through one in an instance before I could rescue it lolHighly recommend it.
