Alley Cat Games Tinderblox (Night) Dexterity Stacking Game - Excellent Travel Game

This game has been on my wish list for a while. I’ve purchased this for my son’s birthday. We camp a lot and have campfires so the theme of this game suited us as a family. It comes in a little tin which is a great size for travelling. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. We haven’t played yet as this is for my son’s birthday, but once opened and played I’ll update the review. This looks great quality and well made. I’m hoping we’ll find this fun and it will be our go to travel game.

Really fun game for the whole family, quick and easy to set up and play

I played Tinderblox with my family at home and when we went out, and it’s really fun. The box is small and strong, so it fits in a bag easily and doesn’t break. The wooden pieces feel nice and solid, and they don’t feel cheap. I like stacking them because it makes me feel careful and excited when it wobbles. The game is easy to learn and quick to set up, so we can start playing straight away. It’s good for kids and parents to play together, and everyone takes turns so it feels fair. It’s especially fun when you are waiting or a bit bored. One thing is that if you play it lots of times in a row, it can feel a bit the same. It’s better to play a few rounds, then do something else. I think it’s good value for the money because the pieces are strong and it lasts. It’s best for families, kids, and travelling.

We have played this game as a family of four - 9 year old and 5 year old. It is accessible for all. The rules are really easy to understand and you can soon begin playing. The game is well presented in a little tin and all of the pieces are of a good quality. It is a short game, can take anywhere between a couple of minutes to 10 minutes but keeps everyone engaged and happy.

Great fun and the size is so handy. Very portable for camping or generally light-packing trips. Family-friendly for sure, but we enjoyed playing this on a couples glamping trip after a few beers. (It does get harder as your hands get less and less steady... And also funnier!) Well worth the money, you get £100s of pounds worth of fun from it

I love this game! I had seen it advertised some years ago and it was sold out, but then I came across it on Amazon and thought I have to buy it! The pieces are miniature but not delicate, they are just little sturdy painted blocks. The game is easy to understand as the cards demonstrate what you have to do. My only critique is that it is suggested for travelling, however with so many small pieces I am dubious to use it on a train or aeroplane in case they fall on the floor. However, I would take it with me on holiday and play it in the hotel room, or at home! It comes packed in a sturdy metal tin. I have found the pair of tweezers to be a little hard to wield, but that may be a personal problem. All in all, a great game for the collection!

This is a great game that is fairly easy for everyone. But we don't play it with small children because we're worried that we might try to eat the pieces or something. It's pretty good.

This small, portable game is super easy to learn and start playing. I love the small footprint of the game and how easy it is to bring along on a vacation or to a board game night. Because the rules are so simple, anyone can pick up the game and join in right away, making it perfect for parties. The components are good quality and don't hinder the gameplay.

O tamanho da lata é menor do que eu esperava. E isso só o torna mais portátil. Qualquer pessoa joga, diverte, dá tensão... Só tome cuidado para jogar onde você possa buscar os pequenos cubinhos que porventura vão cair da mesa. Acabamento impecável.
