The Muzzle Flash Generator emits a flash on every shot of an Airsoft marker. This makes your play even more realistic. Being able to see where a shot came from will change the way you play. This results in much more realistic ways to react on enemy fire.But also the shooters have to adapt: Due to the flash, it is much more difficult to achieve multiple hits from one spot. The Muzzle Flash Generator demands more movement and position changes which results in a more dynamic gameplay.The Muzzle Flash Generator has a splash-proof metal case and is powered by three 1,5V AAA batteries (sold seperately) that are housed in the shell itself. No external battery case is required and no cable destroys the aesthetics of your marker.The On/Off mechanism is operated by twisting the front part like a flashlight. When a BB bullet is shot through the Muzzle Flash Generator, a photocell reacts and releases a short bright flash that can optionally be customized with 7 different colour patterns for squad identification.Now in a revised version!The MFG was further improved in the 2017 version. The changes include an easier batterie insertion and a more rigid Protection Window. The springs of the battery case were shortened to allow more comfortable battery installation. Of course each battery is still held by two springs to avoid loose connections when used on Gas Blow Back-Markers. The radial socket in the plastic tube through which the BB's are shot, ensure the correct fit of the batteries. The Protection Window is now made of significantly stronger material. It is now much tougher and as a result more impact-resistant. Thus, splintering pieces caused by BB hits shouldn't occur anymore. Review: Very cool and functional product. - Fantastic product. Mediocre
It works to a degree but the design is flawed. Essentially this is a flashing pocket torch with a rather disaponting LED brightness. Problems #1. to turn it on requires twisting the casing shut why not have a switch or button? especially since having the item in an off mode may result in water getting inside if it's raining. #2. the battery compartment is the worst I have ever come across, fiddly, frustrating and it doesn't hold the batteries properly. #3. the electronics are exposed, you have to change the light colours by manipulating micro switches on an exposed circuit board. To end, this item feels more like a prototype than a finished product. I would urge the manufacturer to get hold of a B&T tracer unit. They could learn a lot about design and product presentation from it.
