Only if the gravel is 6mm or less but it would stil be hard work. Easier to use a rake.

It’s a builder’s tool ... typically used for plastering, where the long straight edge is handy for ensuring plaster boards, or bonding is flat (or level) when it’s added to a wall. In honesty, I use my feather edge for all sorts too ... it’s basically a very big ruler (this one is 4ft long ... you can get different sizes), so it’s great whenever you need a straight edge that can be relied upon. Hope that helps

If it dont work as a javlin can i use it to help me plaster a wall flat?

It’s a straight edge you can use it as a guide but it’s not really big enough to use on a bigger wall. I use for brickwork.

The whole purpose of a straight edge is that it is straight. This was curved by around 5mm end to end.
