Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser C38, Black, 1 per Pack

First tape dispenser in a long time that hasn't been bulky, overly heavy or awkward to use. Lovely weight, stands firm in use. Very happy.

I bought this for use in my "art studio", well actually it is a shed but insulated, lined with plywood and painted nicely :-). I do get through quite a lot of magic tape, sticking paper on drawing boards, etc. I do have another larger tape dispenser, but that lives in my "study". This dispenser does not come with tape, but fortunately I had umpteen spare rolls. The dispenser is weighted and indeed can indeed be used with one hand, which was a claim that I was somewhat dubious about, but it is true. The price was fairly reasonable, and I for one am a happy bunny with this device.

This was a replacement for the same item sent from a different retailer which arrived broken, due to inadequate packaging. It was leaking sand everywhere, the sand being used for weighting. This one however arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as expected. It is strong enough to withstand normal use. It's not as solid as a big cast iron one we have but that is very heavy to move around and only takes big rolls. I wanted a dispenser specifically for Scotch Magic tape which I believe only comes in small rolls. It is stable enough to use one-handed and small enough to fit in a drawer. The ratings for Stretch and Sheerness I think refer to the tape (not included) rather than the dispenser; however, did not wish to mark down. The dispenser does have movement in the roller at the centre of the tape which cleverly assists with using. A small but very convenient item.

Neat size and heavy for stability.

Scotch Tap Dispenser is faulty. Scotch products are normal quality products unfortunately Tap Dispencer I purchased does not work or cut the tap as needed.

Nice dispenser, but it is pictured with tape in it, leading one to believe it comes with some tape, which it does not.

Same design as they ran 30 years ago. Works like a charm. Love it.

Very happy with the quality. I would buy again. Good weight to it to keep it in place while pulling off the tape.
