I hooked this system up in my boat. It works great until i turn the boat motor on. Then it cuts in and out continuously. Ideas what might be wrong

I’m having the exact same problem. With te engine off it works just fine but ad soon as I turn the engine on in cuts and turns off. I made a completely separate cable and connection straight from the battery and the problem persists. I have a voltage gauge and volts go from 12.6 with the engine off to 14.4 with te engine on which is just fine. I even changed the voltage rectifier in my engine but the problem persists. Its definitely a problem with the amp.

Will the unit still work from a smart phone if the remote gets lost or broken.

The remote is hardwired, if you lose it will not function

So far so good! Installed on 5/25/26. Sounds great. Straight forward install because all the wires in the harness are well labelled. Easy to connect my phone via Bluetooth. We will see how it holds up throughout the boating season.
