Wireless 7-Inch Car Stereo with Volume Knob

Bluetooth connection of my Subaru forester sucks! Got tired of it for years and looked for an upgrade supporting apple carplay. Luckly Sanptent car stereo was on sale (saved $30) one day and I decided to give it a try. Installation is quite straight forward, but you do need to read the instruction carefully. It fits the center console well (It would be easier if your car has a bigger opening. Maybe some trimming work could give it a better looking.). Overall great purchase after two weeks with it: gigantic screen my car would tolerate; nice image res; true bluetooth connection; Apple carplay; responsive screen without lags… The backup camera is a plus as well (the old car frequently gave me a black backup screen). Hope it will stay in place till the car retirement day.

The fit for the Toyota Highlander was pretty bad. Talking on the phone was not good. Neither Android or my daughter's I-Phone. Tried to get customer support to answer if we could add a microphone to the port. Took a month to reply with no real help. Wiring was not a problem with the proper harness and tools purchased separately. Used it for a few months then put the old radio back in after my daughter got her own car.

Installation, surprisingly, wasn’t all that difficult. I did have to use a complete aftermarket dash kit from schosche for my avalanche but in doing so was able to retain all steering wheel functions. I also used a different camera as I just don’t like the style of those small ones. Not a problem, I knew I wasn’t going to want the camera when I bought it. I’m sure it would’ve worked fine, I just wanted the different style from the start. Started right up, I had no problem connecting my iPhone and using navigation features. Played some Spotify, sound. Quality seemed fine the biggest issue, however, is when it comes to making cell phone calls using the radio whenever I call somebody on it I can hear them, but they can’t hear me. They say that all they can hear is some sort of whining, interference of some sort, but they don’t hear me at all. If I can’t figure that out then I’m just gonna have to return it because that’s pretty important feature. And it comes with a dash trim piece which fits around the radio, but too small for the dash and I can’t find one that actually fits both. Apparently this is not a standard size double din.

All though it took me a lot of time to install the stereo the final working product was totally worth the effort. The system has apple car play and android auto with it, all you need is a USB wire to connect your phone to the system. It easily connects to your cars speakers, and also works well with Bluetooth. I have been using it for over two weeks now and it has served me pretty well i would say. I use it for Maps, Music and calling. It probably the best addition I have added to my 2011 RAV4.

Very easy to install, had a double din installed before this one, just unplugged the old one and plugged this one right in. The wireless apple car play is convenient, connects automatically. My previous double din had to be rewired to the correct harness, just fwi.

The screen is big and fits perfectly but they give an extra beauty ring if your hole is larger. Carplay and Android Auto and mirror link. It does everything my wife's new one does. And the sound is great it makes my speakers sound fuller. The dsp and eq are awesome also. And the service is top notch and extremely quick. Just email them with your issue and they will email you back usually within minutes or a few hours. They helped me with 2 issues and are very responsive. The install was a breeze after the modification to the dash. Their installation video shows you how to splice into factory wires but if your lazy like me and a diy er get the harness for 8$ so it plugs straight into the factory one saves a lot of time and energy.

Insalled this unit. Strike 1: Backup camera inop. I pull a lot of trailers and seeing the hichball for easier hookups is rather important. Strike 2: Sound quality is horrible...even for just listening to talk radio! Sure as hell isnt an issue with my Infinity speakers. Strike 3: Bluetooth disconnects from my phone every 3-6 minutes. Strike 4: Phone mirroring doesnt work. Strike 5: Wont hold saved stations in memory. I feel really sorry for the company and think I may just trash it and not ask for a refund. Maybe they can take that money and use it to learn how to build a functioning radio for the next customer. Shopping with Pioneer or Sony on a radio now.

brought this for my uncle and he just came to tell me to reinstall it into another vehicle me and amazon has ups and downs but overall this was a great item easy to install might i add
