The color is not as golden as other earring bases and head pins, which says like 18K gold plated, I expected them to be more gold colored, but they were not. I was first disappointed and started my return. But before I returned them, there was an occasion I needed emergency earring bases, so I used it for once. Believe it or not, the person who received the earrings liked them a lot. So I started using them, making a pair for myself, realizing it's more comfortable to wear. Other ones I have are thinner. This one is sturdier. After using up the first box, I ordered again. This time, the ball looks a tiny bit bigger. But it's OK. They look good anyway. I will hope to continue to use this product. I have a severe metals allergy, even jewelry that is labeled “hypoallergenic” will set my earlobes on fire. I can only wear 14+ carat gold, pure silver, or high quality stainless steel. I made really cute earrings out of these posts and wore them all day without any irritation. I’m super happy with these.

I haven’t had any issues with them breaking but unfortunately they do tarnish quite easily. They don’t irritate my skin or & of my family members ears & we all have metal allergies, the ball itself hasn’t tarnished but the part that goes into your ear does, seems like legit sterling as far as I’m aware but I’m no expert, just have sensitive ears that have no issues with these.

Great bang for the buck!

I like these for my jewelry craft business. They do not tarnish unlike others that tarnish in short amount of time. I am trusting these are hypoallergenic and made from stainless steel as they state. I can wear them as I don't ever get a reaction when wearing them.
