Stays really cool in 100 plus degrees especially if soaked in cold water also reusable

Would be nice if it was 4-6 inches longer. It dries out very quickly. Even tried soaking for over an hour.

I got two of these for hot days. They are just “okay.” I’ve had much better cooling cloths than these. I kept them and will use them but they don’t get super cold even when soaked in ice water and the coldness isn’t really lasting. Okay for me because I’m using them in the car on my way home from work because my a/c sucks when it gets super hot and I often get stuck in traffic. However, these aren’t going to give you much relief if you’re working outside.

You should look at my photos and read this ridiculous exchange between me and Ergodyne for a $5 item. But it's the principle and the vendor's attitude that I want to address. Is this the kind of company you want to do business with? (INCIDENTALLY, AMAZON REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY AFTER I JUMPED THROUGH ALL ERGODYNE'S HOOPS.) ME: The Ergodyne cooling neck wrap I was sent, ordered through Amazon, is dirty. The package looked unopened, but the product has multiple dirty places, on each fold and all around the edges, as if the item had been opened, used and laid down in dirt … and then … repackaged to look new? Whether that happened at someone else’s home or at the factory, it seems I am not the first user of this product. Please send a new clean replacement product or refund the purchase. I realize I can go to Amazon, but wanted to give you the chance to make this right without involving them or my bearing the inconvenience of having to bring it to a return center. ERGODYNE's internal communication within its customer service team: Hello Lisa! See below. This Amazon customer is stating that the cooling towel they received looks to be dirty/stained, and the packaging doesn’t look like it was tampered with. Would we want to replace this under warranty? Should I run this by Lexi and Ted? ERGODYNE to Me: Thank you for your email. I’m sorry to hear about your concerns with our cooling towel. Our operations team is reviewing this and has noted that the towel in your photos looks to be activated. Can you please send updated photos once the towel has completely dried out for comparison? ME: (after leaving the towel out of its packaging, I sent new photos) ERGODYNE: Thank you for sending this information over. After review, our product managers have stated that this would not be something covered under warranty and is ineligible for replacement. They recommending machine washing and air drying the product before first use. If you still wish to return the product for a refund, this will need to be done with Amazon as they have your purchase information. Please let me know if you have any questions. ME: (Question voiced privately to self) WTF?

It was oddly stiff when wet and not comfortable to wear. It stayed cool all of 20 seconds.

I have a mini hyperbaric oxygen chamber that can get really hot for me, that am always hot. To get an a/c for my chamber would cost $2,500 that I cannot afford at this time. I get these neck wraps wet in ice cold water and wrap them outside the tubes that transport the air and oxygen into de chamber. The chamber doesn't get cold, but doesn't get hot either. I got 2 neck wraps, paid less than $10 and they work great.

Does the job real well

Nice to have in summer, but you have to rinse in warm, cold water or else it will smell like wet clothes from dryer.

The material is some sort of synthetic. First use is supposed to require warm water to soften (it's stiff when dry), but afterward, room temperature water is fine. As it dries, it gets stiff, again, so not comfortable if you wear it that long. My neck is 18.5", and I find the overall length of this item to be just barely adequate, particularly with the clever yet reasonable way it is "tied" at the ends. I do not think evaporative neck scarves will work well without air movement, so I do have a large/fast fan in my workout area. I am considering combining it with a lightweight polyester evaporative scarf, just to help keep this one wet longer.

Funciona tal cual, lo unico que no me agrads que la tela no se amolda a la forma del cuerpo, en el cuello por ejemplo tienes que hacer presion para que haga contacto con tu piel y conforme va secando toma una textura como de carton, no lo puedes usar si no esta humedo.
