tried within hours (after soaking the filter as directed) it's great, not too noisy so can chill with TV at night but unfortunately I had to switch off to sleep as even on lowest setting the droning noose was too much (I don't like white noise when sleeping) the light feature is great but it's bright..... 1 tip, add cold water and top with ice for extra cold humidification...

Praise this little desk fan, it actually blows cold air although it's not the most powerful fan at least the airs cold. It is also a portable device so doesn't need to constantly be plugged in 4/5

I thought I had written this already. Despite cooling water overnight, adding ice and soaking the filter, this offered little more than a puff of air that was just the same temperature as the room. It might work well cooling a room in a doll's house. The air being blown by a fan was cooler in a room at around 25degC. Returned after wasting my time.

I bought this after the first 40° day in the UK. It is surprisingly effective for such a small fan. When I was searching, my aim was a small air con unit. This does the same job. It you fill the reservoir with cold water AND wet the filter, it cools down a room surprisingly quickly. Also works in my daughter's camper van all night when fully charged.

Usuable for desk but unusuable for a wholeroom. Noise and quality materials :)
