Better than the last
We previously had a different model brush which we handed down to the kids after 3 years. https://a.co/d/bouL1w9 We thought that older model was great. I hadn’t had any cavities since I started using a Sonicare brush 10 years ago. I don’t floss my teeth and yet when I go to the dentist they always comment on how awesome I do at flossing.Due to eating ice I cracked a tooth. After using this brush for 3 days all the rest of the teeth in my mouth feel as slick as that brand new crown they just put in.I really like how this has 2 buttons, one for mode and one for power, the older models this was kind of frustrating to change modes while it was in your mouth. The ability to connect it to your phone so far for me has been less functional that it sounded. It sounds really cool and it does work awesome, but all it tells me so far is that I do great job brushing. It does tell my wife she doesn’t use enough pressure.

10/10 Recommend + Getting my entire family this toothbrush
I never write reviews but I’m making time for this one!!First off I spent hours researching and watching reviews on “the best electric toothbrush”. And it lead me to this one. It’s not too expensive like the diamond clean being $300+- it’s right in the middle for the price point and looks good, not too outdated and comes with a travel case, also it has all the features I’d really need. This is my first electric toothbrush coming from your regular target brand toothbrush’s ranging from $5-$20. What made me think of getting this over an oral B was the “sonic technology” which seems to be specific to the Phillips Sonicare brand, whereas oral b and others just rotate or whatever. Overall though it’s the best toothbrush I’ve ever owned and I’ll probably never go back to a regular toothbrush. My first concerns were reading other reviews that it broke in a year or 2 because of whatever faulty reason. But honestly if it breaks I’ll probably just get another one again because it’s worth it !! The clean is next level compared to a regular toothbrush and it’s a clean you’ll never experience without one of these toothbrushes. Once you realize what the vibrations mean you don’t need to use the app too, I never use the app and I know I’m gonna get a perfect clean each brush. As sad as it is to say but I look forward to brushing my teeth now every day knowing how clean and perfect my teeth are gonna feel afterwards lol.If you’re worried about the money then these types of toothbrushes aren’t for you. But if you can look past the price it’s 100% worth it.

My First Sonicare Toothbrush and I Love It!
Great quality Sonicare toothbrush left my teeth feeling super clean in an instant! I really like the different modes and speeds that I can adjust accordingly. Love the pink and white color — so aesthetically pleasing. It also feels good in my hand. Although the charger looks nice, it’s plastic and doesn’t feel as sturdy as the toothbrush. Same goes for the case but I’m not making a big deal out it. As for the features of the app, I really don’t care for it. I just wanted a nice toothbrush that did the job and this did!

Defective product
this toothbrush is not worth the money. Within 4 months , the charger died and I had to buy a new one because it was out of warranty. The tooth brush head does not fit tightly on the the unit and shakes abnormally. I have had the unit for one year, and it is starting to not turn on it also sounds louder than when I first bought it. I have taken very good care of this unit, it's manufacture is faulty or this unit was a lemon. I had my last Phillips Sonicare toothbrush for at least 8 years without any problems. I don't recommend this unit it wasn't made well.

Whitens teeth
Outs true that only after a week of brushing with this 9000, made my teeth seem whiter. But I didn’t give it 5 stars since I couldn’t get the app to work as described.

out standing
the sonic toothbrush works good this is my 2nd one of this model and I enjoy both of them I now they are costly but so worth it for all the adjustments from telling you when you need to change the brush head to 3 speeds and lets you know when your pressing to hard against your teeth I will recommend this to anyone

Well worth the extra $
This is my third Sonicare brush. The first one was a 1000 second was a 7000. I always assumed the series # were just marketing tactics and the handles were all the same. This is not the case. The 1000 is basically a manual brush, I would never recommend it. The 7000 was outstanding, I used it for four years before I decided to buy my girlfriend her own and decided to upgrade slightly to the 9000. I order two, not because my 7000 needed to be replaced but so I could connect to the app which Ive heard was pretty great. Needless to say Im very pleased with the app although Im sure it's a luxury Ill use for a month then completely forget about. However the handle itself feels like a sledgehammer compared to the 7000. My teeth feel like I just left the dentist everytime I brush. I took the next step and linked my account to my Alexa which reorders brush heads when due. About every 85 days. I'll be buying these for my entire family come Xmas. Remarkable product

🪥🦷 A loyal Sonicare user’s take after 20+ years of continued use and model upgrades
I’ve been a loyal Philips Sonicare user for over two decades, and they’ve consistently improved their products over time in the following ways:🪥 Sleek handles that are light and easy to manoeuvre during brushing🪥 Elegant materials and finishes like glass, textiles for the travel case, chrome, and matte/metallic plastic🪥 Improved brush head designs for folks with more sensitive teeth and gums🪥 More attractive charging bases and accessories, like travel cases🪥 Charging tech to match what consumers have around the house or travel with, eliminating the need to carry a dedicated toothbrush chargerThis 💎DiamondClean 9000💎 model is no exception. It exudes premium quality. Here’s what stood out for me:🦷 Quiet Operation: The toothbrush runs smoothly and quietly. The sonic vibrations on the high setting stimulate the gums and make your mouth feel like it just had both a massage and a hygiene appointment at the same time. Folks coming from a manual toothbrush will notice this after the very first brush.🦷 Light, Slim Design: The handle is slender and lightweight, with modern gradient colours that enhance its aesthetic appeal.🦷 Slender Brush Heads: A key advantage over Oral-B brushes. The slim design allows for better reach into back teeth and more precise cleaning. It’s ideal for those with gum recession and/or sensitive areas. The snap-on heads are easy to attach and resist buildup of old toothpaste around the connection point. I tried the Oral-B option with the bigger heads, and while it is a very slick product with a cool screen and functions, it was just too big and clumsy in my mouth.🦷 Customizable Vibration Level: The power button lets you select vibration intensity. I’ve noticed the highest level is much more powerful than my previous Sonicare model. This thoughtful upgrade lets you boost agitation of the toothpaste, create more foam, and make your toothpaste go further.🦷 Stylish Charging Base: The included black chrome charging base integrates seamlessly with premium glass charger cups from older Sonicare models, adding a touch of elegance. What Needs Improvement:⚠️ **Power Button Buildup:** I had this issue with my previous model to the point where it impacted button operation and made it difficult to use. While the buttons move freely on a new unit, the gap between the body and buttons remains and can accumulate hardened toothpaste over time, potentially causing them to stick. Philips needs to look at ways to address this, as my current solution is to use a pin and scrape around the button every few months under warm water to clear out the dried toothpaste gunk and get the button moving freely again. This was not an issue with the Oral-B.⚠️ **Brush Head Cap Design:** The updated cap for premium brush heads is cumbersome compared to the old slide-on design. Attaching it often catches and bends the outer bristles, which can be frustrating. The older design was quicker and more user-friendly. So, put on the cap carefully so you don’t ruin the bristles on the edge.Overall, this toothbrush still gets top marks from me, with just a few minor items noted for improvement. Philips, keep up the great work, and never stop innovating!
