Bandai Namco Entertainment Elden Ring (PS4)

Fun game that is keeping my grandson entertained!

If Dark Souls & Bloodborne had a B@stard love child then Elden Ring would be it.Hard in places, extremely tough in others but highly enjoyable with deep lore & sandbox adventure. Mini Bosses & Main Bosses are a complete nightmare

Great game, mu son loves it so much he's going to replay it all. Even made new friends at school since they all play it together, impressive for a one person game.

Its a game! For husband and son.Mythical themed a bit like lord of the rings.Being new to this type of gameplay as its not their usual shoot,die and respawn.Pick a character based on their stats, then you can customise your characters facial features if you wish, which is tedious as it involves fine tuning.No real explanation of how to play but get the odd pop up during play of what to do.If you never played this type of game it is a little overwhelming to get to grips with what to do and what does what in terms of weapons, potions and magic but if you spend the time to read and navigate the menus you start to understand it.Large open world with various degrees of enemies and strengths. Even though you can explore you are essentially pushed to go a certain way as parts of the world have tough enemies which will definitely kill you until you level up your attributes. So once further on into the game you can back track to explore new areas previously not reachable.If you played god of war then you will enjoy this as its similar.
