I’ve been using GABa now for several months and purchased this product a few times. I take one capsule about 90+ minutes before bedtime. It helps with my sleep and I relax more as I get ready for bed. Overall I would say it’s a good product and seems to work well for me.

I bought this to help me sleep. It does not appear to do that directly, but does calm down my restless legs. A huge win!

I have zero doubt that this product does what it says. My only caution is to start with a lower dose and work your way up if need be. I'm fairly new to anxiety and just began a low dose Xanax in August. To me, having never dealt with it before, I have been on the hunt for natural remedies. I now realize that my anxiety is very situational - pandemic life, 3 kids virtual learning etc... All of this to say that when I took this dosage of GABA, it was way too much. I felt nauseous, my lips and ears turned red, my chest felt a little heavy, and my legs were shake. It took a good 5 hours before I leveled out. There's a lot of trial by fire when seeking out natural aides, but please don't underestimate their potency. I am not someone who suffers from drug interactions, so this was an eye opener for me. I may go for the 125mg dose, but I'm a little scared considering the night I had. This stuff is strong, so please, start low and work your way up. I hope this was helpful! Be well.

Okay listen... I don’t usually leave reviews, BUT this right here? A hidden gem. I started taking NOW Foods GABA 500mg just to help calm my mind a bit. I don’t feel drowsy or zoned out, just... centered. Like I can take a deep breath and actually feel it. I take one before bed or when I feel like my thoughts are trying to sprint a marathon. Within 30–40 minutes, it’s like my nervous system just says “girl, we’re good.” 😌 Also love that it’s clean, no weird aftertaste, and doesn’t mess with my stomach. Just peace. In a bottle. 10/10, already on my second one. If you’re an overthinker or just trying to soften the edges of your stress — grab this. Trust me.

The first couple days I took the supplement, it really helped me. I had a “chill”, calm feeling. Didn’t necessarily help me go to sleep, but did help me relax. However, I would say the effect only lasted a week. I don’t feel like I’m still getting the same affect. When it did work, since I suffer from insomnia, I could tell the feeling wore off after a couple hours. I don’t know if i should take 2 pills now. However, that’s been my experience.

It almost felt like a heavy load had been removed from my shoulders and instead of dreading the day I found myself feeling closer to normal than I had been in ages and not fretting or worrying unnecessarily about things and seemingly experiencing no symptoms of depression immediately. I began taking two capsules at bedtime and then taking two more capsules in the morning with my regular routine medications. I have increased my dosage this morning to three capsules since to work so well I am assuming a third capsule will provide added benefit, with no concern I am taking a fatal overdose, like with standard antidepressant medications. Moreover, the cost of this supplement is affordable and legal for me personally it has been effective. I was so glad to learn about it I can not fully express my satisfaction and optimism here. Since it is affordable one has nothing to lose but a lower purchase price, should it not work for you. I recommend giving it a shot and seeing whether it can work for you as well.

It calms if you are anxious. Better start with small dosage, just once in a morning, and slowly iterate. It doesn't slow down you.

perfect to relax from stressful situation or just to fall asleep easier. Not to strong and doesn't last long, which is awesome. you will not get up tired the day after! like with prescription meds
