Fluoro Touch Strips - 300 Strips by KASHSURG

I’m an ophthalmologist and use a fluorescein strip on nearly every patient during an exam. These are just as good as the big brand name products I used for decades, and these are considerably cheaper. Very good product.

I was very pleased with these Fluoro Touch Strips. The are individually wrapped and made of heavy paper, it doesn't flop over when it gets wetted with solution. They compare very favorably with the brand name strips I've been using for over 30 years, and these are less expensive.

I’m a newbie to these strips so it’s going to take some getting used to because I have trouble using anything to touch my eye. The strips seem to be of good quality and you get a good quantity and the instructions are written well and easy to follow. The strips do work as described with good results. Great to keep on hand and checking from time to time if theirs any eye restrictions. Great for the whole family especially when it comes to eyesight you want to have and keep healthy eye. With these strips you can save yourself from future issues by just checking and get token care of if you get a negative result.

Does a great job at staining SPK. I only had photos on my phone of reduced TBUT, but trust me, the keratitis staining is impressive. I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything else.

So I have no 'legitimate' reason for buying these. I'm not an eye doctor and I have no pressing need to stick these in anyone's eyes, but... there's some history here. See, I used to wear contact lenses, and went to the eye doctor regularly for checkups, and strips like these were part of that. I got a kick out of how they made my eyes glow, so I convinced him to let me have some extras, and one night right before Halloween I used a couple before I walked into the bar. That night, on the dance floor, was an absolutely stunning vision. Dressed as a minor character from a comic, she danced alone, the center of circulation, the eye of a pulsating storm. Somehow, I caught her eye - and she saw mine glowing across the floor. A few short years later I danced with that vision of loveliness on our wedding day... so I don't need these. I have no use for these, but having them makes me smile and brings back wonderful memories. And they work just as well as the ones my eye doctor gave me all those years ago.

I followed the procedure to touch the strip against the lower part of my eye after dousing the strip with saline solution. What's nice about these strips is that they don't flap over as easily as previous versions I've used. Once the dye is in the eye I blink a few times and then I'm ready to use the special blue light I have for viewing. It's great at seeing any abrasions on the cornea, which come up green under the blue light. The strips are individually wrapped, which I expected. Note that an experienced person should use this product and not just anyone. I think the quality of these strips are very good. The price point is quite reasonable. These flouro touch strips do the job.

I tried these out and they are so much easier to use. I'm going to be taking these to my eye doctor when I go next time. Maybe I'll give them to her to try out if she wants. Otherwise I will be giving them to my friends and family to take for their eye appts. Most importantly, I like that even though the eye doctor is careful, they use the same bottle for every patient. I would prefer they used these single use ones.

Typically I can wet the strip and then apply to the eye: but these strips, once wet, sag and droop and drip the stain. Probably will never order again
