Shapes and pictures
I really like this toy - my little one is immediately attracted to the colourful shapes and places them on the boards . The pictures on the boards are a great touch, as they help to make pictures that look like somehting!! The only thing that could improve this would be for there to be a lid on the box, or a bag or the pieces to go ..... although thast wouldn't change that they are going to end out everywhere!! The shapes and boards seem good quality and durable enough - hoing it will last a generation :)

Great toy.
These are great - excellent for perfecting concentration and fine motor skills. We love playing with these (my son is now 4 and has had them since he was 2) My only complaints would be - the box, it only has a plastic sheet that just sits over the top - given all the pieces it would be much better to have a proper lid. Also there are not enough of the hexagons, but far more than you'd ever need of some of the other shapes. It doesn't make sense really! Over all we have really enjoyed playing with these though, a nice calm activity.

I really wish it a lid for keeping bits together
Nice item but such a shame it doesn't have a lid to keep the pieces in place. Bought for my husband who is living with Altzimers to help keep him occupied but it really would help if there was a lid to keep them together.

Very disappointed
I bought this for an Alzheimer's patient because one of the Alzheimer's organisations recommended it as a way of providing the patient with something challenging to do. The idea is good but the coloured pieces do not get placed in a cutout which would keep them in place but on top of a slippery printed pattern on a board. It is so easy to dislodge the pieces and as the printed pattern is exactly the same colour as the pieces to be placed it is very difficult for an Alzheimer's person to distinguish between the pieces she has placed to the printed pattern on the board. To be fair, I guess this isn't a problem with the item but a problem with the Alzheimer's organisation that recommended it. That said, It would be difficult even for the recommended age range (child) to keep the pieces in place. Still, I do feel that I have wasted my money.
