Decent work shoes, S1P rated.
Comfortable work shoe, second pair purchased. The last pair lasted about 18 months. True to size and good grip. S1P rated which is what I needed. Extra pair of laces included. All in all a decent work shoe.

Comfy, smart and decent price.
Really happy with the size and quality of the shoes. I went with one size larger than my normal after reading reviews and was it the right move. Look smart and are comfortable for everyday in the office

More heel padding than my Barbour Brogues!
I've only had these a matter of weeks but they fit well (I'm size 11 wide feet), though I've only just broke them in. I work a job where I'm on my feet 8-9 hours a night and comfort is key, I am always wanting to look smart therefore outside of work I wear brogue (a lot more expensive than these) so decided to by these to try. Firstly, they came well packaged I was shocked! They are great looking shoe and smart for working in retail, building site etc. The reinforced steel toe cap with the brogue shoe allows for practical yet professional look for anyone from supervisor to CEO. My only issue (could be me) is I always get a sore on my big toe from steel toe caps and these are the same, hoping thicker socks may prevent this or might order a bigger size and see if it makes a difference. When comparing them to my expensive brogue for every day use, these offer more padding on the heel (again I was shocked). They seem well built though I need to test them for longer!

So comfy
Have had several pairs of these over the years and can't fault them. Tend to only wear during the summer months as I need something more substantial for winter. Get 2+ summers out of each pair. Straight out of the box literally within minutes they again become the comfiest things I've ever had on my feet!! Light, smart and durable at a great price.

UPDATED REVIEW.
Update - after 2 weeks I have had to stop wearing these shoes. They are exceptionally narrow even going up by a size as noted below. The steel toe cap has torn my feet apart to the point that I am still showing bruises over a week after stopping using them that were under the blisters. These shoes are not for me. I still stand by the quality of City Knights shoes in general but be careful of the narrow width. Maybe if I'd tried a size 12 things would've been better. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is my 2nd pair if City Knights shoes with the first pair still going strong after 2 years. Right from the box these shoes fit like slippers, no rubbing and no issue from the toe cap. I work in a suit but in an environment where safety shoes are occasionally an advantage. These are perfect with a suit. If I have any negative to add, its that you should consider going one size up, I'm normally size 10 - 10.5 but selected 11 as previously advised with my last pair. They are also slightly narrower than the loafer style I also own, so wider feet owners should probably take note, although as noted before, for me, these are a perfect fit. I'm looking forward to at least 2 years daily wear from these as I have from my first pair.

Solid, indestructible and cripplingly uncomfortable
An early warning when the thick shoddy laces are almost impossible to thread through the eyelets which are so shoddily made that they only have a metal surround on one side. Original lacing method would be impossible to use. Stiff ungiving upper ensures the whole shoe is solid. I need a wider fitting on 10 to 10.5 but I have ALWAYS been able to get a shoe or boot in size 11 to fit. But not these. I work in security but luckily I only first (and last) used them when the patrol is not too long ..... a normal one would be 3 to 5 miles each time and various number per night. I have never even had trouble with the safety boots I normally have to wear, and not expensive ones, but thes AWFUL shoes are infinitely worse than anything else. They do not fit, they are tight EVERYWHERE, they hurt at the side, the top, the back of the heel and the sole. Overpriced and not fit for purpose and will not insult a charity shop by giving them away. Will be a relief to get home and throw them away.
