Long wait for delivery,but good stuff

Was apprehensive as never used anything like this before, but loved it. I find it tastes like milkshake without the milk (got raspberry one) and it actually did give me more energy, improved my times, I run and cycle (older lady so not at super speeds) but defo better. Will buy again and recommend it.

Forget the Gels and food bars, this is a great product for anyone running a half marathon and above, cant recommend this product enough.

I’ve had many energy drinks and gels over the years but without a doubt this the best tasting one. It lives up to the hype. No stomach problems, easy to digest and no bitter or artificial after taste. Flavour is subtle and not over powering like some. A must for any endurance athlete of any level.

I put this as an essential item for my running

Tastes good but early days on the digestion effect. The only reason I've marked this as 4 is that 1) It wasn't obviously containing Caffine and 2) when I opened the packet, the re-seal zipper broke so I've had to use a food clamp instead.

Have been using it for the past couple of years in most of my longer runs and am quite happy with it. Easy to prep and plan with this product. A bit pricy but within the same range of the other brands.

I think this is a solid product. I have been using Tailwind on a lot of my runs and I never have energy issues. It's the summer in Texas, so I'll usually take a handheld with 1 or 2 scoops of Tailwind and I'm good for an hour run. On longer runs, I'll still only do one bottle of the product but I'll usually carry another thing of plain water. So I can go for a 2-3 hour run on 200 calories in 90-100 degree weather with high humidity without needing additional nutrition. YMMV. The thing I like about Tailwind is it's not overly sweet and messy like GUs can be. It's just in your bottle and you forget it's there and it provides the energy you need to power through a run, hike, or whatever. There's really not much more to say about the product. The first time I bought Tailwind, I bought their 200 calorie sticks. They're ok, but I wish they made them 100 calorie or crimped the packet so its evenly divided or resealable because if you only want to use half the packet, you have to find a way to reseal it which is a pain. I've had issues with it spilling all over the place in my car because I forgot that I hadn't used the whole thing. Not fun. So now I just buy this big old bag of white power that's not at all suspicious officer. There's a convenient 100 calorie scoop and the bag is resealable, so that's nice. There's even a line at the bottom that reminds you to purchase more. Taste is subjective, but I like the flavor of the Raspberry Buzz the most. The sticks offer a variety pack. But if you are like me and want to stick with one flavor, just get the big bag. I don't know if it ultimately saves money or whatever--this product is pretty expensive, but is on par with similar nutrition--but it just more convenient. Plus there's caffeine which I need injected into my 40 year old veins. Tailwind offers non-caffeinated flavors I believe.

We first were introduced to tailwind at a local outdoor shop. Our son overheats very easily and most other drinks to help with dehydration aren't really very good for their bodies. So we mentioned it to the shop in our extensive search to help him function in the summer. They brought up tailwind. They said that he can drink it without repercussions to his kidneys and we were more then happy to buy the little individual packets to try out. He didn't extensively try it at first but now that it's much warmer out he's been drinking it more often. He had a pretty big heat spell and I mixed up this drink and he chugged it (he enjoys the flavor so it isn't forcing it down) and he bounced back quicker then he really ever has. He normally is down for the count once a heat spell hits. But in a matter of a half hour or so, he was back outside playing. For me, I love the little pick me up with the caffeine. If I've been really active it's a great pick me up. If I just slept poorly, it's a great pick me up. Most of these powdered drinks don't taste that good but this one is enjoyable. Plus it mixes clear. We switched to buying on Amazon because our local shop hasn't kept the Raspberry flavor stocked. We are planning a big bike trip and tailwind will be in our packs!
