I've used another manufacturer's Butea Superba previously with notable results ( it makes some things fuller like during younger days, with added plus of helping general circulation). This from Barlowe's is maybe a slight bit more potent, so I use one supplier's in the am, Barlowe's at night. It's recommended this be cycled, and I generally do that with everything, including my turmeric, about every 4 to 5 weeks I'll take a week off. By the end of that week I do note the reason I take all my supplements. I recommend B12 as methyl cobalamin in high doses with this, along with Pine Pollen, and a good multi herb testosterone enhancing supplement. Doesn't work miracles, but keeps me from being self conscious in the gym ….. plus the B12 helps with neuropathy.

Apparently with Butea Superba stronger is not always better. This extract gave me many of the symptoms of increased estrogen/prolactin. Butea Superba is used to raise DHT but it also has some phytoestrogens in it. In its natural root powder form there aren't enough phytoestrogens in it to worry about and the androgenic effects of the root balance it out. But it seems in this super concentrated extract the phytoestrogen profile is raised enough to cause some people like me (who are estrogen sensitive) symptoms. I was seeing signs of increased DHT but also increased estrogen. When I switched back to root powder the estrogen related issues stopped. ***UPDATE*** I tried taking these again along with Tongkat Ali Extract and for some reason it is working the way I expected now. Within days of taking this combination my facial and body hair began to increase and darken. I was previously taking one capsule a day but when I switched to 2 I had less unwanted side effects and more of the positive side effects I wanted. Ordering more now!

First off, allow me to explain that I'm also currently taking Barlowe's cnidium Monieri,xanthoparmelia scabrosa, as well as Swedish Flower Pollen and a separate company's cissus quadrangularis product, all concurrently. In regards to what Butea is supposed to do, I can only assume it is working. This is day 5. There has been a marked increase in muscle hardness, aggression, and skin tightness. Libido is flying high and generally speaking I feel fantastic. I can also tell DHT has increased due to slight breakouts on back and shoulders. This is what it is supposed to do. Will update on any major changes.

Besides being expensive my husband has not notice any difference.

I like Barlowes. This herb has no noticeable effects. I am an herb guy and I like products that have noticeable effects like ginseng, cistanche, tongkat, bulbine, akarkara, etc. This one doesnt.

I have would reordered it two or 3 more times but i feel that the shipping charge is entirely to much so i started using one that is free with prime but this works. Ill order it again once the shipping goes down

This is powerful. Made me sleepy. Do not operate heavy machinery when taking this or driving. However it boosted my testosterone naturally. My voice deepened more too. It helped with exercise too. More strength and blood flow to a certain organ down south. Great product and quality.

idk if they lowered the dosage of ingredient or what but they need to bring back whatever they had in the bottle the first time i purchased it. The second bottle i bought wasnt the same nothing happened nor did i feel anything in the libido section. They gotta make it strong again honestly the first bottle bought felt like if I've taken a blue pill it randomly just wanted to stay up , go up outta nowhere random hrs of the day and of course during action felt like you could last 3+ rounds and last for hrs. Had hopes for this brand and herb to continue purchasing 🌿
