Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner, Brown

This is a great black eye-liner by Rimmel. It is very soft and smooth, and coverage is excellent. It's easy to use; you can get a fine line, or a thicker one, and it’s good for wings if you want them. You can use it on the waterline, and once it’s dry, it really does stay where you put it with the absolute minimum of smudging. You can use it for a smoky eye, and if you work quickly, you can soften it and make it smudge, if that’s the look you want. The colour is fantastic black with a real depth to it. Longevity is excellent, and if you do get any wear, it’s even. It’s easy to remove with any decent make-up remover. For the price, you really can’t go wrong.

I love the colour of this pencil and it has a nice texture for smooth application. It is also very good for sensitive eyes. However what I didn't realise was that the pencil was made of plastic and after only a few wears it appeared that I was going to have to throw it away as there did not appear to be anyway of propelling the tip forward. Also because it was made of plastic it didn't appear that you could use a pencil sharpener. I tried one of my normal eyeliner sharpeners but this had no effect at all. My husband then decided to try a good old fashioned sharpener used for colouring pencils. As long as you don't just poke it in and try and turn it but instead gently take a little bit off at a time it will in fact sharpen quite nicely. The trick is thin slivers and not try and remove a lot in one go. I've put a picture so that you can see that it is possible for all those people that haven't been able to sharpen theirs. Otherwise, I really love this pencil. 4 stars but only due to the sharpening.

Love the pigmentation and easy application, it stays on all day and extremely worth it for the money. It glides on and there’s a lot of product. The only downside is that a lot of pigment gets lost after sharpening. The product is great and 100% would recommend

The only pencil eyeliner I will use! Great coverage, great staying power and colour is a deep black. Highly recommend.

I've used this for years and it gives a distinct look I often get compliments for. Granted it's been a bit annoying to sharpen in the past but now it's impossible to sharpen. Why have they changed it? Update: I opened a ticket with the manufacturer asking why it's changed. Although they couldn't answer why, they were very helpful in sending me a free replacement and also a Rimmel branded sharpener which does a better job at sharpening.

Great on eyes easy to put on pleased with results

DUD PENCIL! I have bought lots of Rimmel eyeliner off of Amazon and have never had an issue. However, i opened this saturday, used it ONCE, and went to sharpen it this morning for todays use, and it woukdnt sharpen. This was because the plastic part that is always at the bottom as people know to secure the base of the eyeliner which attaches to the pencil is at the TOP OF THE PENCIL, MEANING I CANNOT USE IT BECAUSE IT WASNT MADE PROPERLY!! IT IS A COMPLETELY 'DUD PENCIL' SO NOW IM CONTQCTING AMAZON FIR A REFUND AND I WANT ANOTHER SENT OUT! I Have attached photos. You can see where ive tried to just sharpen, but the top is PLAStic! NOT PENCIL! NOT HAPPY AT ALL! *UPDATE* I was offered a Replacement by Amazon. Recieved today, nd EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE with this pencil as well. So these are not passing quality control with Rimmel at all as they plastic part should be at the bottom whilst the pen should be full of eyeliner so it sharpens with use. Instead, the pens on two occasions, have been made back to front, meaning you cannot sharpen the tip because its plastic! And also the eueliners 'bend' as well. Which signifies hollow plastic throughout the 'pencil'. Absolutely disgusted with Rimmel. The silver band should be at the bottom of the pencil. Not the top. These are defective and im so annoyed that Amazon have kindly refunded me for the item.

Very nice kind of brown color with glitter😍🙌🏼 it’s a creamy texture so easy to put and high pigmented. It’s is a waterproof & smudge proof I really like it🙌🏼 next time i will order color black.
