Excellent, turns on at dusk, off by 2:30 Am but if needed it as of now it’ll go on till morning comes and remote is definitely a plus. I ordered 1 and was going to try one other brand but this is Definitely the light to have in the case the power goes out. is mellow brightness but bright enough to get through the night.

Absolutely recommend these lights to ANYONE! They are absolutely perfect for our porch. The installation was easy. There is different settings, my favorite is the dim setting. It sets a wonderful tone for sitting on the porch. Not to much light and that’s what we like. But there is a feature to make them brighter. We have the solar panel on the roof of our home and it stormed a few nights ago and it did not damage it. So 100% water proof.

They work really well, I have the lights set to come on at dusk, run on super bright for 4 hours then turn off. So far they have been flawless. They aren't super bright they illuminate the area though. I strung the lights along my fence, I just draped them over the post and placed the solar panel on the ground facing towards the direction of the sun. They have endured a very hard rain and I saturated the solar panel a few times because it is next to my garden and it hasn't been an issue. When I go camping I will take them off the fence and take them with me. They can also be USB charged. I charged the device to full when I first got it and since it's been on solar.

Update Feb/2024 Early Jan/2024 the lights became erratic. It became apparent that the solar charge was not doing it's job. Contacted company explaining what was going on. Suspected it was likely the battery which according to company could not be replaced. Addlon got back within 48 hours indicating that they would replace the charger. Obviously they were prepared to back up the 1 year warranty that was indicated on Amazon. Within a day of providing address had an email confirming shipping of replacement which arrived expeditiously. To say the least I was impressed that the company did provide support and stood behind their product. I do like the lights and very much appreciate the remote. The dawn to dusk issue has faded as if and when need light in morning it is quickly set up with remote. Changing from 4 stars to 5 stars. In today's world a company that provides support and stands behind their product needs to be recognized, at least as I see it. Installation went fairly well once got the cables untangled which was my fault. Later I find instructions on a small card in bottom of box on how to "unwind cable" in an alleged easy manner. Do like the solar panel set up. Able to install and keep cable out of sun. Sun tends to eat things up around here. There are 2 issues. For a most senior person the instructions were lacking and/or confusing. The second issue is dawn to dusk which is primarily why the set was ordered is about 6 hours. The lights start with dusk which is coming 20:00 and are gone by somewhere around 02:00. Dawn around here is closer to 06:00. The dusk to dawn is about 6 hours so have to shut down on a timer. There is still plenty power for the lights if turned on after 02:00 with remote. Not a big enough issue to uninstall and send back but not dusk to dawn in my book. The lights do work well and do like that brightness can be adjusted.

These work so well for our camp site I bought 4 so far. They’re bright and adjustable to a few settings. One is perfect for low light ambience and they look like old fashion lights. Solar panel is big and all seems to be charging and lasting like it should. Definitely great value for the cost

I bought these and had them up all summer and now into late fall. They add a great glow to the yard and look very sleek. The sun, even in the fall, gives them a full night of power. They are not super bright, but bright enough to light up the space around them enough to see at night. The color is a wamish white, but not warm/yellow. They're well made and withheld many strong storms and wind. Toward the end of summer, I did have a squirrel decide to chew clean through the string lights. I thought about keeping the bulbs, tossing the set, and getting a new one, however, I decided instead to try to repair it and was successful (cut and spliced the wire, retwined the wires, covered with a waterproof wire gauge butt connector, crimped, and heated it on with a lighter) I'm glad I did that instead, much cheaper and no hassle of having to take them down and put new ones up. Plus if it happens again, I can repeat the process! As the holiday season comes up, I wondered if I could get colored bulbs for them. I couldn't find any that appeared compatible, so I decided to just get colored square cellophane sheets on Amazon, wrapped each bulb with one, and used black hair rubber bands to fasten the sheets on. It worked so great for Halloween, and will be doing similar for other upcoming holidays. I've attached a pic for reference.

Stopped working after a few weeks. I live in an apartment and my patio only gets so much sunlight so I resort to charging it. I didn't have any issues the first few weeks and now it doesn't hold a charge. I plug it in all night long and the lights no longer turn on. I ordered a replacement and these only lasted a week and once again the same issue. Will not charge by USB either. The red light charging indicator no longer comes on to indicate that it can charge. Update: Found out that these do not charge on Apple chord type C chargers. I had been using my phone charger to charge it in the type C port but only once I used my type C charger that I bought from Five Below, it finally started charging.

I’ve been using these Addlon 54FT solar string lights for my outdoor space, and overall they create a really nice vibe. Installation was pretty simple, and the lights feel durable and weather-resistant, which is important for outdoor use.  On the downside, brightness isn’t super strong—they’re more for ambience than lighting up a large area. Also, performance can depend on how much sunlight the panel gets during the day. Overall, these are great for creating a relaxing outdoor setup, just don’t expect super bright lighting.
