Bare in mind this is my first tarot card set, so I do not have a vast awareness of what is also available on the market. But for a first set, im pleased I choose this one. The cards are beautiful. They're well made, similar feel to a standard deck of playing cards but tarot-sized. They are sturdy and easy to shuffle. They come with a nice little purple drawstring satchel, a handy descriptive booklet and a box for storage. i'm very pleased with this purchase. If you're considering these cards for a beginner, I think it's a safe and solid choice. ✌️

I don't know how the heck you pronounce "zhongshanshijiayukeji"...I wonder if the seller got tired of trying to come up with another random string of letters that wasn't already taken by another Hong Kong exporter and just let their cat walk across their keyboard as it pleased...but this Tarot deck was even better than I expected and it got here FAST even with the free standard shipping. First, you get the whole set in one nice big box, in my first photo here. Open it (you'll need a knife) and inside is the smaller, much fancier card box itself and the guide book. Inside the beautiful inner box are the cards and a neatly folded Tarot bag in a deep violet color (my camera flash makes it look brighter than it is). The cards are printed on thick, glossy cardstock which is plenty durable and doesn't seem to crease easily. Each card has a brief explanation of the cards' meaning, as well as the reversed meaning written upside-down at the top of the card so you can read that explanation right side up if the card comes up reversed. This seems like an bit of genius, as an educational aid to help someone new to Tarot cards learn the basics and get a feel for how to use them. The backs of the cards are a lovely gold & deep blue design I can best describe as a kind of "mystical zodiac" art. Aside from that, they function just like any other nice deck of Tarot cards and use the very same artwork as the classic Rider-Waite deck. Please note that while the cards fit quite neatly into the drawstring bag that's provided with the set, it will also hold the little (and well made, as these things go) booklet just a bit tightly, but unfortunately isn't big enough to hold the entire inner box with the cards and booklet inside. Overall I'm glad I bought these. They were on sale here at Amazon and I had some rewards points to burn and felt like I would get some use out of these to help me in my own learning experience on reading Tarot cards. They even arrived early, on my birthday, which was a nice touch. :-)

Bought as a gift for a teen learning tarot. These are great as you don't need to keep checking a book for meanings. The meanings are written on the cards themselves. The cards are very pretty and cool. Standard sized. Good quality. Great way to learn and fun. Can be used right out of the box.

This is my first tarot deck, so I took some time before choosing. I picked this deck because for my first one I wanted a more traditional design while learning the meanings/definitions. This deck is perfect. Beautiful illustrations, with extra information on each zodiac sign, elemental information, and numerology included, giving me plenty more to learn once I become more familiar with the different meanings. It’s very nice having the descriptions on the cards! I’d highly recommend this deck for any beginner. Durable and beautiful. You can use both the book and the card descriptions (as I like to) or you can just shuffle the deck and use only cards/personal interpretations. My only complaints? The cards themselves are flawless. The accompanying booklet, however, wasn’t quite as descriptive as I’d hoped it would be. For as detailed and loaded as each card is, there is zero guidance for numerology, the elements, or the zodiac signs. While descriptions within the book do expand on each of the major arcana, there isn’t much more for the minor. And there are several spelling mistakes throughout. Not a major complaint for me, but it did feel like a rushed, uninspired job with the booklet, which is my favorite part. I feel I need to buy a separate guide, which is fine considering the price and quality of the cards, but that would be my only complaint. It does include a guide for three different spreads - 3 card, 6 card, and 13 card, with guides for each position. And a breakdown of the classic 3 card spread, which was wonderfully descriptive and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend this deck! Perfect for beginners. It is lovely and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Love these. Very easy to read and would have given it 5 stars but there were a couple odd typos Lol- my personal favorite being “jubgment” At the end of the day I love this deck and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I love these cards. They are perfect for beginners because they have the meanings on them so you won’t get so confused. They also fit in my hands better.

Having the information to help with interpretation on the face of the cards is a great benefit for someone like me just starting out. The quality of the cards, the artwork, the colors, are all superb. Amazing value for the price.
