Thought I bought new
I feel that someone had these before me. Attachments were scattered around in boxes. Paint was scratched. Functionally they are ok. Thought I bought new.

I like these - wish there were more choices
These are very heavy duty window bars. They arrived looking like they'd been through a war but the products were unscathed. The adjustability is excellent and I ended up installing them horizontally for more coverage and hoping that it less like jail bars. I wish there were versions with thinner bars and also ones that allowed bedroom fire escape. Also white color choice would be a nice option to have. But those are just suggestions for improvement/more choices. You can't go wrong with these. I will order more at some point.Overall they are very sturdy and give the security needed to keep the house safe.

I need a 2nd set but don't want to buy it and risk this used quality, given that I'd bought "new"
I wrote the following but weeks later have heard nothing. "The bars are scraped up in multiple places, not smooth and fine. I haven't seen this type of poor quality in metal that costs $115 new. The bars are intended for the inside of a window for safety, so people inside my home will see them."

The proper set screws not included.
They do not include the necessary screws to properly install. I purchased 3 units and all three had the incorrect screws. I had to purchase the correct ones, which were not expensive, but delayed installation.
