These or the popular Polk DB651s? I'm not a big bass fan, so lack of bass not an issue for me.

I am very happy with the Pioneer speakers. Bass is not an issue for me as well. I like more treble. I listen to Rock/hard rock.

hey guys could i install 4 of these speakers and use normal deck power to play them or i need a 2 channel amp?

These sound way better with even a cheap $50 amp. I've got 4 speakers hooked to an older Pioneer GM-3100T amp running at 2x75 watts. You can wire 4 speakers up to a 2 channel amp; just make sure the amp shows it's rated to run 2 channels at 2 ohms. Also be sure to run the proper gauge of power wire that is recommended to use in the manual. I had to turn the gain down somewhat because these speakers were making my ears melt at even moderate volume levels.

Does this speaker come with an adaptor bracket?

There is a template that you can punch out from the side of the box to trace out the bracket to cut from wood yourself. Or, you can buy an already made adapter for your car. Or, do what many people do which is cut the paper speaker out of the OEM speaker bracket and just mount the aftermarket speaker on there.
