Regalo Easy Step Walk Thru Baby Safety Gate Pressure Mount with Included Exte...

I’m extremely pleased with this Regalo Extra Tall Baby Gate and would happily give it five stars. It has been a fantastic addition to our home, providing much-needed peace of mind when keeping our little one safe around doorways and the bottom of the stairs. The extra height is a great feature, making it feel much more secure than standard baby gates. Installation was straightforward, and the gate fitted well in the space required. The instructions were clear, and once installed it felt sturdy and stable with no unnecessary movement. The design is practical and easy for adults to operate, while still being secure enough to prevent little ones from opening it. The gate opens and closes smoothly, and the locking mechanism feels reliable. I also appreciate that it blends in well with the home environment rather than looking overly bulky. The strong construction gives confidence that it can handle everyday use, and the taller design is especially useful for more active or adventurous children. Overall, this is a high-quality safety gate that combines strength, convenience, and excellent value for money. It has made our home safer while still allowing easy access for adults. I would definitely recommend the Regalo Extra Tall Baby Gate to other parents looking for a dependable solution for stairs or doorways. Five stars!

Good price, sturdy and easy to fit and remove if required. Ensure you use the two bottom cups to ensure base fittings do not get pushed out of place. Keeps a large gsp dog in room!

Lovely gate does the trick for our xl bully

Gate is good and works fine, only problem I have is my door is wider that a standard door but not wide enough to use the extender so my gate can come off quite easily which isn't ideal but still works for now.

Extremely easy to set up, which was a huge bonus. Plus, instructions were super clear and understandable. I have a 'springy' Boxer, so was looking for something taller, and this is perfect. Also, I have wide doors, so standard gates never fit. I've placed this at my lounge door, directly next to the front door, so we have no escapes, and I must say the security of it and strength will most certainly stop him getting through. I thoroughly enjoy it being in black - as it looks much more stylish. I had to use the extender that comes with the product. The lock and unlock function is very easy to use, even with one hand. Only downside, is the width of the bars aren't wide enough for my cats to fit through, when the gate is shut. Overall, extremely very happy indeed, and will be purchasing another two for the top of my stairs & kitchen.

Despite being a "pressure fit" you still need to affix the sockets that the gate sits in to the wall which makes it a bit pointless to be pressure fit but also only suitable for where you can drill a hole. The box specifically says not suitable for stairs despite the listing saying for bottom of stairs which is a little confusing. Once fitted you have to be careful to not over do the pressure of the gate won't actually open at all, because the latch doesn't retract far enough for it to open when fitted tightly (hence needing the sockets to keep it attached to the wall otherwise you can knock it free). For a product that should be very simple this things sucks.

I was a bit disappointed I had to built this safety gate. It’s was okay to build but it seems flimsy trying to put it together . After all I did got it to the doorway to fix it in and screwed the pressure cups in etc and got it all set up and the gate latch doesn’t meet I tried screwing it looser but no matter what I did it wouldnt meet or was not opening. I never complain about much but I’m fed up with this gate.

Bought this to stop the dog wandering out, needed the height because she would jump anything lower & I am very pleased to say it works, means we can keep the door open when it is hot. Very easy to fit so really pleased we purchased it & would recommend.
