Is this good enough to do beef jerky?

Yes, I use it for beef jerky and it does a good job. Salmon jerky is pretty excellent too.

I am planning on making dog treats with this, how long does it take to dehydrate thin slices of chicken breast/livers(Around half centimetres thick) ?

To be honest it’s very much ‘trial and error’ - the dehydrator is relatively low power (only 70C) so we’ve had it running for 12 hours. If you find that it’s not done as well as you want it then you just start it again for a few hours. We tend to prefer the treats to be ‘leathery’ as opposed to ‘crisp’ - you may have a different preference. Personally I’d start on 12 hours and then ‘tweak’ from there……and then note what you’ve done.

Can I make potato crisps with this?

Hi yes you can, depending on the veg depends how long it takes, it's been a great investment, it's never off, we have an allotment, we dry herbs, make crisps, dry fruit, it's endless what you can do, would not be without it. Just remember it's like a slow cooker, it takes time, but worth the wait as none of the added rubbish from shop bought food.

Whats the temp range?

35 - 70C. A useful appliance IMHO. I am pleased with mine.
