Caran Dache Metal tin with 84 assorted colours

I absolutely loved these water soluble crayons. Like everything else from Caran Dache, they are extremely high quality and a pleasure to use. The colours are stunning and vibrant and lay down so beautifully. I have found that I prefer using these without water and using them like oil pastels. They are so versatile that I will keep experimenting with them in lots of different ways and I’ve gotten lots of tips and ideas from YouTube. The range of colours in this 84 set are fantastic but I have found a couple of times that a colour I wanted was missing so I do wish they had a few more colours and they are missing some lighter pastel shades too. Overall I would definitely recommend these to anyone who likes working in colour.

This is yet another amazing product from Caran d'Ache. Soft, and with an unimaginable palette of vibrant, easily blendable colours. It is perfection as always. But this is not the main reason for this review though. I am just amazed by some reviews where people claim it is only 42 shades? In a box of 84? People, the remaining colours are UNDER the 1st layer! So simple, look: 1st layer) Pencils over a plastic tray and plastic tray INSIDE a sturdy metal tray. Remove that metal tray and... ta-daaa!!! The 2nd layer is just below it. However, If you remove only the plastic tray it will look like an empty space and people can be mistaken (and on the brink of a nerve attack). But, fret thou not: before returning it, just check it carefully. It is there, believe me. Just remove the metal tray. I hp it is visible in the pictures! There is no way a reputable company such as Caran d'Ache would not sell according the specs!

The neocolor 2 pastel crayons are superb quality. They are very pigmented and creamy to use. They dissolve well when water is applied or are opaque and lay down well if you want to use them without applying water. Creamy and highly pigmented. Love them and use them often.

Great product, which is to be expected from such a famous company. Beautiful colours & they go down on the paper very easily. The product arrived very quickly in excellent packaging too.

Paid nearly £70 for a beautiful art supply but sadly the tin was all bent up and most of the pastels have chips and chunks rattling around in the tin and a few are broken. I guess they're still usable but it is upsetting to have them in a state on arrival.

These new colour crayons are amazing quality. A learning curve to learn to use them and bring out the best results but it is well worth it. So many possibilities. You’re getting what you’re paying for.

Very easy to apply and activate. Adds extra vibrancy to your watercolours. Good range of colours to choose from.

Wonderful range of colours, including metallics. I already had a smaller tin of these, so knew what they were like and wanted to get the full range. They dissolve so easily in water and for finer work I use a water pen directly on the crayon. Love using them, the final result looks like watercolour paint. This was one of the best prices I could find for this set.

Bem embalados, ótima entrega pela Amazon. Produto sensacional, excelente pigmentação do giz, cores incriveis, vale muito a pena quem gosta do desenho com giz. Bom, 95% da Caran D'ache é incrivel. Material impecavel. Vale a pena a compra.

Wat kan ik hier nog schrijven over de neocolors 2, ze geven zeer veel pigment af, goed te blenden en prachtige kleuren!
